They provide the friendly face, helping hand, and first Lebanese friendship that can make a world of difference for new arrivals. Buddies can also offer linguistic support, cultural guidance and information about life at LAU and in Lebanon.The program also allows students returning from an international experience to support fellow students in their preparations for their semester abroad.
It was a remote internship, where the company is located in UAE.
I assisted in sourcing and attracting top talent through various methods such as job boards, social media, and emplovee referrals.
• Reviewed resumes and iob applications to pre-screen candidates.
• Scheduled interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates.
• Assisted in onboarding new hires by preparing offer letters, completing necessary paperwork, and coordinating with the HR team.
• Participated in employer branding initiatives and job fairs to promote the company as an employer of choice.
• Performed other duties as assigned by the recruitment team.
It was a remote internship, in which I assisted the HR team with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Conducted initial candidate screenings and provide feedback to the HR team.
- Supported the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assisted in maintaining HR records and employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Helped organize and coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assisted with employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities and events.
- Support the HR team in updating and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
- Assisted in preparing HR reports and presentations as required.
The IT Helpdesk team provides phone and email support during normal working hours as well as assigning and/or escalating user requests for specific IT entities. All end-user requests are followed up in a timely manner.
