Co-ordinate with suppliers, manufactures, buyers& freight Forwarders to plan, implement best policies & procedures for logistics activities.
 Integrating the logistics and transport functions involving coordinating with internal & external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions. Rate negotiation for different cargo movements.
 Authorize freight orders to competitive and reliable freight and customs agents.
 Giving value addition and stacking Norms.
 Checking tariff classification of items as declared by suppliers and assigning appropriate Harmonized Schedule codes as per Dubai Customs H.S. code list.
 Coordinating with freight agents and customs brokers for customs clearance of goods at sea/air ports.
 Coordinating with Food items Customs clearance officer for the Dubai Municipality clearance for food items.
 Preparation of Documents Such as Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Packing list, MSDS, C.O.A, HS code list etc.
 Monitor product import, export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
 Sending pre alert to Inventory executive, warehouse Manager and third party warehouse for arrival of inbound shipments.
 Following up of Cargo Receiving report from third party warehouse and sending it to Stores, buyers.
 Receiving import duty and freight invoices from freight agents and routing to finance department for approval.
 Insurance & claims settlement / closure achieved totally, thereby minimised and controlled the loss / shrinkage to the maximum extent possible.
