My world has placed me in the political change in Greece in the 70’s, the invasion of Kuwait in the 90’s, the global uncertainties and now the up-coming 2020 Expo in Dubai. This quest which started in the early 70’s in Europe with only two hundred and fifty dollars, a back pack and my Pratt portfolio, was to explore and share the experience of “people” and their environment. After all, I was a New York designer and my calling was to create and design for all “people”. It has taken me to the train yards in Munich unloading cargo, to kitchens washing dishes/pots and cooking, to projects in Europe and the Middle East. Always somehow drawing on my previous trade experiences as an electrician apprentice for New York Local 3, a salesman for men’s fashion house, a tailor’s assistant, a free-lance photographer, a cook, love of food and art.
