Acting HR Manager: Managed the entire HR operations and HR department during the period of
absence of the HR manager by delegating tasks to team members as per priority and providing guidance
as and when required. Acted as a liaison agent and primary point of contact for the management and
HOD ‘s for updates, actions, requirements and decisions to be taken.
• Talent Acquisition: Worked as key player to place around 400 blue collars and 65 white collars through
several recruitment drives and local recruitments during the tenure. Managed end to end recruitment for
the above said number to meet management vision with current and future business requirements.
• Compensation and Benefits: Coordinate with operations for timely and accurate entry of timecards.
Prepared and updated required data in the ERP, successfully processed the payroll to be submitted to the
accounts monthly without interruptions or errors. Manage and update benefits like leave salary, arrears,
HRA, sailing allowances, reimbursements etc. as per eligibility.
• Insurance: Manage the additions of new joiners and deletions of cancelled employees into the company
group medical, group life and workmen compensation policies. Submit claims and follow up for
insurance payments for workplace accidents and approvals for insurance applications for employee
treatments.
• Training and developments: Have coordinated, created and hosted several induction and training
programs for employees to develop their skills and for employee engagement resolutions.
• Other areas of experience: Manpower planning, Onboarding, conflict resolution, Grievance handling,
Disciplinary actions like warnings, suspensions, demotions etc., HR module migration in new ERP tool,
succession planning, periodic appraisals, Full and Final Settlement processing
