Proscape LLC and its related companies are market leaders in their business sectors like Construction, Landscaping, Golf, Infra, MEP, Irrigation, Architectural Metal Fabrication, Joinery, Nurseries and Trading of Landscaping & Golf materials and machineries, Chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers etc. As a Stores & Inventory manager for the entire group, my initial responsibility was to organize the department, define SOPs for each companies Stores Department, Define Job descriptions for Head of Store and Storekeepers and other store personnel. Recruitment & training of Storekeepers were also part of my responsibility. Played a vital role in implementing MS Dynamics in the group and completed the task on time. Always maintained a high standard of housekeeping in the warehouses which was acknowledged by Group CEO and Chairman

The company is a leading name in manufacturing modular buildings and portacabins with factories in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and later on opened another factory in Doha, Qatar during my tenure at AMB. Joined in the stores department and later on given the additional responsibility of logistics department as a recognition on my abilities and previous experiences. Initially the department was reorganized, SOP and Job descriptions were made for efficient functioning of the department. Recruitments and training were done as and when necessary. Being a manufacturing facility, various inventory analysis was made and took appropriate decision to optimize the inventory turn. Classification of Stores were made on the basis of analysis and cycle counts were planned and carried out. Stock levels and Re-Order levels were reviewed periodically to maintain the inventory levels to suit the Production plan. HSE norms were strictly followed by all the staffs in Store and Logistics department and was appreciated many times during internal audits.

Hamilton International was a pioneer in interior design and fit-out, which won couple of design awards in Dubai. Though joined in the stores department at the Abu Dhabi branch of the company initially, additional responsibility of purchase in Abu Dhabi was entrusted on me considering my satisfactory performance in stores and the previous experiences. I was part of a core committee to formulate an item coding system and also defining a SOP for the store and logistics operation. On the first day of meeting, an elaborate draft was presented by me and the system was implemented based on my proposal with minor changes considering the concerns from other departments. When there was a crisis in Logistics department, I was asked to take over the responsibility of Logistics too. After learning the issue, I have asked one-month time to study and resolve the issue, but, the issue was resolved in a couple of days. Additionally, I was entrusted with responsibility of admiration of GRG & Duct factory of the company which was functioning from the same premise.

AVG Motors is a prominent dealer and service center of Suzuki vehicles which is the highest selling cars in India. It was a great exposure for me to work with a non-governmental or non-military organization which helped me in understanding my responsibilities with more focus on a profit centric approach. The concept of 5S was learned from the guidelines issued by Suzuki Motors and was practiced in the company. This helped me in implementing this methodology in other companies and there by bring a noticeable change in the process and housekeeping standards. Performed cross tab analysis to identify the high revenue generating spare parts and ensured its availability.

I started my career in one of the world's most Prestigious Air Force. The IAF molded me as a disciplined, hardworking, proactive, enthusiastic and loyal citizen which helped me a lot in rest of my careers. The basis of my knowledge in inventory management, logistics, purchase and IT are built on the training and exposure I received from Indian Air Force. I was one of the initial teams when computerization was started in the Indian Air Force. Initially stand-alone computer softwares were made for the Stores and Purchase department. Various reports were designed and generated, imparted Basic computer Training and Training on the softwares to the staffs. I was lucky enough to get associated with implementation of Integrated Material Management On Line System (IMMOLS), an ERP system specially tailored for the Indian Air Force. The responsibility of IMMOLS implementation included right from installing SATCOM, LAN and the IMMOLS software. The tenure in IAF has matured me to adjust to any situation/condition so quickly and work under pressure.
