Lab Management includes establishing program goals, policies, analytical procedures, methods, and guidelines; manages a state laboratory program including quantitative analysis of specimens and samples; establishes quality control program and assures work conforms to standard procedures and related federal and state laws; integrates and coordinates section activities with other departments; develops, recommends, and maintains budget; authorizes expenditures; selects staff and trains in analyses, laboratory procedures, and use of equipment; assigns work, and evaluates performance; determines analytical methods and protocols for obtaining, transporting, and accepting samples; supervises and recommends decontamination and disposal methods; reviews quality control data and authorizes release of laboratory reports; prepares proficiency test reports. Answering client’s calls, clearing doubts and sending quotations according to their requirements
