Supervision on behalf of Client and ensuring all Construction activities are in compliance with Project Specification and Construction Drawings.
Attend Technical Meeting with client & contractor weekly & Monthly.
Attend Inspection Requests (IR's), Closely Inspect the work done by the contractor to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents, good construction practice, only approved materials are installed in compliance with shop drawings and MAR.
Study & Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications & local Authorities.
Prepare records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available when required.
Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to Contractor for appropriate action.
Preparation of surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found at site and nonconformance reports (NCR) & Site Observation reports (SOR) in conjunction with the Senior Electrical Engineer.
Check and ensure effective co-ordination between disciplines related works and all other disciplines.
Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
Conduct regular site visits with Client Engineer and supervise, verify the installation of Electrical works ensuring compliance with the contract documents and keep as record.
Reviewing payment certificate with respect to work progress at site.
Witness for the Site testing (Cold & Live Testing), commissioning & Functional test of all Electrical Systems.
Participate in reviewing Field Design Changes as submitted by Contractor.
Technical support and assessment to Contracts Engineer and Cost Engineer for Variations and Claims when raised by Contractors.
Advice Planning Engineer and Project Manager of any slippage of progress related to Site activities.
Inspection of on-site and off-site materials which is used in the project.
Identify potential safety concerns and inform the contractor to provide safety procedure during work execution, installation and Testing Commissioning of all Electrical Systems.
Participate in reviewing the Close -Out Report as submitted by Contractors.
Verify the accuracy of the contractor’s “As-Built” drawings reflecting in details the as-built conditions and approve the As-Built drawings
Preparation of Electrical drawings, design documents, project schedule, reviews engineering plans and specifications.
Preparation of submittals for Client / Consultant Approval.
Reporting to the Project Manager for the latest update on the drawing submissions, Daily Reports, monthly reports, Material status etc.
Provide technical assistance and background information to the Project Controls in relation to Field Design Changes, Trend Notices and Claims.
Attend Project co-ordination meeting with Sub-Contractor, Consultants and Client & prepare minutes of meeting.
Finalization of Subcontracts and Materials as per Scope requirements, Specification and within the budget limit.
Prepare projects material submittals, method statements and documents to get approval from consultant, client and end users.
Prepare BOQ and to procure material as per site condition and coordinate with supplier.
Prepare MIR, RFI and getting approval from Client / Consultant / Third party.
Prepare subcontracts bills and work allocation for as per contractual documents.
Maintained effective working relationship with contractors, consultants, client, vendors, outside agencies and other staffs.
To supervise and monitor the site labour force through General Foreman / Supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.
Responsible for managing overall site activities relating to erection & commissioning of electrical works.
Executing the project as per technical specification.
Ensure the co-ordination in between civil & electromechanical activities and cover any interface if any.
Co-ordinate with all other MEP services and making modifications and recommend for other solutions.
Prepare coordination drawing as per site condition and recommend solution for other MEP services.
Resolve general electrical engineering issues.
Assist the Project construction and commissioning team in timely completion of projects.
Provide engineering solutions for relocation, upgrades, modifications, and new acquisitions of Electrical infrastructure needed to support construction projects.
Monitoring of site activities as per project schedule and completing project in timely manner with profit.
Involved in all MEP installations such as Chillers, Exhaust Fans, and Split A/C units.
Co-ordination of HVAC works, Fire Fighting Works, Water Supply and Drainage works as per site requiremen
Monitor and ensure erection works progress.
Preparing final closeout for handing over documents and As Built Drawings& Operation Manual.
Study and review Method Statements, Material Submittal, Progress reports and other project documentation as required in line with company and Client requirements
Prepare and request for Completed Work Inspection to consultant for Approval
Prepare Materials Inspection request to consultant for approval before installation
Co-ordinate with consultant for Site Observation Report (SOR) & Non-Conformance Report (NCR) closing out
Co-ordinate with ELV Suppliers for the system testing and commissioning and provide requirements
Daily Inspect the site and supervise the site work with supervisor and Forman and give report to Project Manager
Attend Site walk with Client Engineer to check Quality and Progress of work on weekly or monthly basis
Ensure the co-ordination in between Civil & Electromechanical Activities and cover any interface if any.
Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures and method statements
Testing and commissioning of all electrical system witness with the consultant.
To supervise preparation of full detailed shop drawing required to execute the project.
