Leading and managing entire supply chain planning function for 4 stand-alone retail megastores of 22, 000sq.m each in Kuwait & Saudi and a selection of more than 20000 products; generating $500M annual revenue. Areas include demand planning, procurement, materials management, Inventory management, warehousing/transportation, and supplier performance. Accountable for product availability and inventory worth $130M. Product categories include Home Furniture, Home Décor, Curtains, Wallpaper, Lighting, Parquet, Tiles and Bathroom, etc. Responsible for setting and achieving inventory business plan, setting monthly open-to-buy, setting safety stock levels, managing inventory tracking processes, and identifying/implementing inventory reduction opportunities. Managing Freight movement (Ocean, Land, and Air). Established cross-functional planning meetings with sales and marketing to discuss sales forecasts, align demand plans, review projects, and make decisions on non-move and obsolete inventory. Work together with merchandising managers to prepare for new planogram additions, execute promotions, and create planogram exit strategies that minimize risk. Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
