My skills include good effective communication and the fact that
I can relate well to all kind backgrounds. I am good listener and
I have the maturity to contribute positively in a team or to work
on my own initiative. I am compassionate and nurse patient with
empathy and sensitivity to their culture and religious beliefs. I
nurse my patient with all kinds of illness related to Renal
Failure as well as those that are not related and my role is
challenging in that I have to find the balance to deliver holistic
care to my patients especially when it comes to blood result
investigation's report and there I use my knowledge to share with
multidisciplinary team which is very essential for the patient's well
being.

Clinical - On a Daily Basis

Assess, plan, deliver and prioritise haemodialysis and patient care
requirements, both physical and psychological delegating to other
nursing and support staff as required.

Setting up dialysis machine with Ultrafiltration profile according to
dry weight, if require sodium profile . Management of any
complications occur during dialysis.

Taking proper care of access such as Tunnelled or Non tunnelled
line or AVF to prevent infection.

Supervise and provide individual patient care, Pre, post and during
dialysis treatment, ensuring that recorded observations of blood
pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature are performed according
to the trust guidelines.

Emergency management Perform CPR and lead in all clinical
emergencies.

On a regular basis carry out cannulation, phlebotomy, venesection,
ECG's, intravenous drug administration, blood glucose monitoring,
Hepatitis vaccination.

Ensure collaborative working relationships and effective communications
between all members of the multidisciplinary team by participating and
leading in audit, consultant rounds and MDT meetings. Ensure Team
brief is implemented.

Prepare duty rota for staff that meet service needs and take into account
of Improving working lives.
