- Primarily responsible for different VMware Vsphere Infrastructure.
- Manage 30 ESXi hosts and more than 275 VMs, vCenter, SRM and vCenter Heartbeat.
- Install, configure, manage and troubleshoot vSphere farm.
- Expertise in Designing & Configuring VMware vSphere Environment
- Converting Physical server to Virtual (P2V) and Virtual to virtual (V2V)
- Microsoft Clustering in virtualized platform using RDM pass through volumes
- Manage VM templates and Deploy VMs
- Well versed in different features like VMware VSAN, HA, DRS, SDRS, Fault tolerance, vMotion, Storage vMotion, vStandard & vDistributed Switching, Admission control, Affinity and anti-Affinity rules, Host Profiles, Auto Deploy, vCenter Heartbeat products.
- Good understanding of Stretched or Metro storage Cluster, . Long distance vMotion
- Install, Configure and Manage VMware SRM (DR solution).
- Hands on experience in command line tools like Vsphere PowerCLI, vMA, vCLI
- Patch management using update manager
- Install Configure and manage Horizon View Virtual Desktops infrastructure
- Good knowledge in VMware VDI linked and full clone desktops, Dedicated and floating user assignments
- Install Configure and manage Citrix Xendesktop and Xenapp farm.
- Citrix PVS (Provisioning services) and MCS (Machine creation services), Static and random desktops.
- Installing workstations, Server’s, network services and peripherals. (Windows 2003/ 2000 Server / 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 Server).
- AD User creation, setting up permission, testing and implementing GPO.
- Configuring DNS forwarders Manual DNS Entries for non-Microsoft products, creating new zones
- Transferring Operation master Roles (FSMO) of forest and domain wide levels
- Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 Clustering
- Fair knowledge in SAN(FC, FCoE, iSCSI) and NAS(NFS, CIFS) block and file storage.
- Troubleshooting windows servers
- Creating and implementing Hardware RAID configuration
- Installing and configuring the Windows servers (2008/2003/2000/NT) & Servers for optimal performance.
- Configuring the DHCP Server, DHCP Relay agent, Reservation and DNS Servers
- Preparing Incident report for Critical issues for future reference with documentation and diagrams of network for reference.
