- To acquire, retain and extend new and existing business growth through structural and comprehensive account management of freight operations in the region specially with clients of Oil & Gas verticals.
- Proactively manage daily Freight Forwarding activities of the company to include all sea, air, road and warehousing operations.
- Actively develop client relationships at a senior level and be responsible for delivering services
- Travel throughout nominated regions expanding operational and strategic growth.
- Manage pre qualifications and regional tenders.
- Manage 3rd party contractors constantly, ensuring service quality compliance and competitive rate levels.
- Interface with operational team in order to ensure safe project execution to client’s satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
- Introduce SOP’s, Method Statements and Risk Assessment for each individual account/project to ensure operational accuracy.
- Designing and implementation of staff realignment initiative, thereby developing a highly motivated team utilizing extensive coaching & counseling.
- Provide direction and support to the team, defining departmental manning levels as necessary.
- Set and monitor KPI’s (key performance indicators) for all staff to access performance and growth, set targets against agreed timelines.
- Ensure the international forwarding and domestic brokerage is services are pre organized and aligned, meeting deadlines across each sector.
- Constant interaction with global network of agents
- Responsible for overall operations and accounts functionality

To further develop the Air/Sea import/export product in the marketplace by lightening the company goodwill and resources.
- Overall responsible to carry on operational delivery to clients with insights to main core activities such as Air -Sea-Land -Import & Export / Customs Clearance/ Transportation / Pet transfers/ Human Remains/ DGR consignments.
- Determining the client's needs and requirements in association with logistics services
- Overseeing issues of loading and unloading of materials to ensure necessary safety and precautions
- Training the air freight team to develop efficient coordination to enhance customer satisfaction and value creation services
- Understanding the business development needs with establishment of the required track record monitoring system
- Offering managerial and administration support to organize all essential functions relating to air freight control and business management
- Establishing continuous track record system that ensures effective and timely transportation services.
- Overseeing all legal and procedural formalities in connection with shipments and logistics
- Negotiating for procedural developments and shipment contracts to increase profitability with good customer relationship management techniques.
- Maintaining excellent relation with airlines and thereby thrive best to acquire ad hoc rates on high dense shipments.
- Manage and monitor the Airfreight office/warehouse to build a solid and productive team
- Enhance air export consolidation yield
- Establish SOP for air import and air export to ensure work efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partner airlines and co-loaders including vendor management
- Maintain compliance in all matters such as Security and ISO Compliance etc.
- Build up teamwork with good discipline and positive work attitude
- Improve team members’ knowledge and work skills through leading by example.
- Create and maintain an effective department organization chart, which is designed for flexibility and growth
- Prepare, execute, monitor and update at regular intervals the business plan for the department.
- Ensure the system reports are utilized in order to effectively manage operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others)
- Work to be Company vendors, lowest cost customer through electronic booking, shipper built units, and other creative local market solutions to lower overall cost for both parties.
- Evaluate vendors at defined intervals per company policy.
- Respond to all RFQs as placed by clients.
- Take an active role in the transition of new business as well as Customer Retention.
- Ensure and assist supervisors and key staff with necessary directions.
- Plan for and hold effective weekly department meetings with team to review performances / customer grievances if any provide necessary guidelines.
- Review and check on CASS billings and approving them for payment.
- Meet company goals & standards.

 Greeting clients and have an open discussion for the business opportunities with our division. Understand their requirements, present ourselves and bring them to our business loop as Customers. Sometimes make marketing through telecom and succeed in getting business .
 Carrying out operational procedures which include mainly communication to the core and follow-up.
Co-ordiontate and schedule deliveries to clients. Transport arrangement with TPT Companies where required.
 Quote to agents. Negotiate rates, Seek approval and proceed with formalities.
 For Agent shipments which are on terms - DDU/DDP maintain a dual communication link between the agent as well as the cnee.
 A point of Contact for the group Sales Team in order to brief them for the docs/ operational requirements.
 Guide the Sales team for the documentations required from the client and at times assist them for any specific queries placed by them. Be on a parallel communicative level with the Sales rep and the client till the consignment has been cleared and delivered.
 Settlement of queries placed by clients.
Identify opportunities for enhancing freight business and developing new areas of business.
Negotiate rates with carriers for air shipments with an understanding of the market.
Build and maintain relationship with them to facilitate and promote business
Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and enhancing business.
Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all levels of operations.
 Filing and record keeping in accordance with the standards set by ISO for the division.
 Receiving Feedback from Clients for the service rendered. Appreciations received - to be escalated. Grievance if any to be accessed and put forward strategic execution plans to deliver the Customer with more satisfactory service.
 Make valuable inputs to meet the division targets
