Working as procurement engineer for MEP/Power & Water section of Al-arrab Co and mostly responsible for long lead electrical materials required by in hand projects.
Projects Executed: Centralized Procurements (11 substation Projects, , KAP-2B, KAP4, Shenin STP, medina STp

* Organizing for and oversaw the purchase of electrical goods and service to the company
* Contacting directly to MEP suppliers and negotiating for all electrical suppliers and processing
all purchase related documents (Comparison Sheet, Po, Attachment sheets).
* Purchasing all IT related materials (software, IT equipment’s and telecom materials) and
negotiating with IT. Suppliers, and working closely with the contract department.
* Maintaining records for all procurement activities and updating daily.
* Carried out extensive research regarding suppliers and making procurement suppliers lists.
* Preparing purchase orders and price/supply agreements, including negotiating with suppliers as
Necessary and following up until closing out the purchased materials activities.
* Reporting directly to the procurement Manager and preparing the Vendor selection and bid
evaluation process
* Recording all procurement activities to data base software (Logo Business Solutions).
Projects Executed: Solar Power Plant - Aramco - Dhahran.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and controlling electrical day to day jobs.
* Installation of cables and layout of various types of conduit (RGS, EMT, PVC pipes and PVC coated pipes)
both overhead and underground. Installation of cable trays of different sizes and heights, and installation of
groundings of different size to whole building.

* Installation of panels, measurement of roof size and power calculation and laying cabling system Wiring and
cable termination according to schedule.
Projects Executed: Princes Nurah Bint-Abdulrahman University - Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining communications between senior procurement officers,
* Collaborating extensively with vendors, trucking companies, and warehousing personnel to coordinate the
cost-effective and timely expediting of materials.
* Calculating price breakdowns, discounts, and freight charges prior to generating and processing purchase
orders; following up with credits and resolution of invoicing discrepancies.
* Interfacing with major suppliers to obtain required product information, promotional material, Material
pricing and description clarification.
Somali Health Care & Training Organization
•Collecting for quotation for daily purchasing materials and submitting to senior purchasers.
•Maintaining communications between corporate office, distribution center, and all store locations.
•Calculating price breakdowns, discounts, and freight charges prior to generating and processing purchase orders; following up with credits and resolution of invoicing discrepancies.
•Interfacing with major manufacturers to obtain new product information, including but not limited to promotional materials, pricing and descriptions of new products.
