● Assess patient, take vital signs and proper documentation of initial assessment.
● Assists the doctor in examini patient and procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, catheterization, major wound dressing, etc.

A.General Nurse:
Assess the nursing needs of the patients.
Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
Admit, discharge and transfer patient.
Carry out doctor’s legal order.
Monitor and records patients vital signs and response to treatment.
Observed signs and symptoms, institute independent nursing interventions, proper documentation and referral to health care providers.
Prepares equipments and assist physicians during patient’s examination.
Wound dressing.
Supervise patients in taking medication as prescribed by the physician.
Provides special assistance to patients with learning disabilities to cope independently with regard to their activities of daily living and total care.
Responsible in the specimen collection (urine, stool, sputum, blood, etc.) and follow up results.
Supervises colleagues and patients in maintaining a safe environment such as putting up side rails of the patient’s bed.
Disseminate information like health promotion and prevention of illnesses.
Gives and received endorsements regarding patients condition, procedures to be done and doctor’s advice.
Interpret hospital policies and procedures to patient, family and/or significant others.
B.Community Health Nurse
Participated in the Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity
Responsible for the patient’s care, their comfort, and their treatment.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the ward and upkeep of its instruments and for carrying out the policies of the lying-in/Rural Health Unit.
Attendance to normal spontaneous delivery.
Assistance in the Immunization Schedule of the Infants.
Implements program to build awareness of the community regarding Proper Nutrition, Family Planning supervision, and Anti-Tuberculosis Campaign.
