Prepare department operating structure and staff roles and responsibilities
Ensure appropriate interdisciplinary design review including value engineering and constructability processes and gateway procedures
Oversee the preparation of scope of work for engineering design RFPs and bid documents and support for the preparation and evaluation of construction RFPs and proposals
Review proposals for engineering design, design and build and other forms of contracts
Assist with setting up pre-qualification criteria for the Architectural / Engineering (A/E) companies and contracting companies
Implement an engineering deliverable management system
Assign site engineers to projects (where required) and maintain functional responsibility of site engineers
Provide technical support to construction teams
Provide the necessary support to the team assessing the status of ongoing projects
Coordinate with Design Review Team to develop and continuously improve the design review process
Implement and follow quality assurance program procedures
Identify specialized engineering or consultancy firms for owner approval
Organize design workshops to enhance design delivery

Monitor current projects and coordinates all team members involved to keep workflow on track
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Handles all technical matters dealing with the Project & Site Offices, ensuring all files, correspondence, records and information are prepared and maintained in accordance with Company processes and procedures.
Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Being point of contact for various working groups
Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
Sharing relevant documentation and reports with Project Teams (Design & Site Office)
Ensuring resources are always available during project execution
Providing support to project managers and business leaders when requested
Dealing skilfully with a diverse range of people including Client, associate Consultant and the Contractors for protection of existing services during active Design and construction period.
Ensure that all work complies with QA/QC procedures.
Thorough project documentation and creating and reviewing of reports
Ensure project aligns with set strategy and budget
Arrange and manage team goals/project schedules/new information and keeps all material up-to-date
Communicate timeline changes and new information to team; tracks project changes and adjust schedules as needed
Ensuring project deadlines are met.
Providing administrative support as needed.
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Project Planning & Coordination.
Liaison with the Client and other concerned Government Agencies & Consultants, Contractors.
Prepare Project Reports also Techno Commercial Proposal for the upcoming Projects in Pakistan and abroad related to Energy & Power.
Prepared Monthly, Quarterly Progress Reports of the running Projects.
Performed all related duties as assigned by manager.
Reports to the Project Manager the status of project progress against the plan schedule and provides corrective actions necessary if the planned schedule is not achieved.
Prepares and submits Planning Data’s to be incorporated to the submittal of Project Progress Report (weekly/ monthly) in coordination with Project Manager and Site Quantity Surveyor and submit same to the Consultant / Client for Approval.
Coordinate with Project Manager the effective implementation and monitoring of Look-Ahead-Schedule including the project actual accomplishments.

Izhar Housing Project, Lahore Pakistan.
DG Cement Plant Project, Kalar Kahar Pakistan.
Nishat Shuaiba Paper Sack Plant Project, Kalar Kahar Pakistan.
Atlas Honda Project, Pakistan

Responsibilities includes;
Construction Supervision of heavy foundation for pump room, and base Slab for paper sack plant mill and cement silos.
By weekly site visit monitor the progress of Pre-Engineered ZAMIL steel building for raw storage, paper plant and Honda factory.
Liaison with the Client & Design Department.
Construction supervision of various activities performed by sub-contractors worked at IZHAR Housing Project Site.
Supervision of infrastructure facilities like main & link roads, side drain etc.
Depute Junior Engineers/Site Staff at construction sites in order to ensure quality of workmanship and adherence to engineering standards of work.
Preparing the Time-lines about
Monitoring of Construction Progress and making recommendations for removal of constraints if any

Various Construction Projects namely;
Infrastructure Development Project which includes such as Road, Drains, Road culverts, overhead water tanks and allied civil structures at DHA Phase -7 Lahore Pakistan.
Three Underpass Projects in Lahore, Pakistan.
Pakistan Motorway Project (Burhan Interchange Section).
Askari Housing Complex Project

Specific responsibilities were as follows:
Construction supervision of civil works like Pile works, raft foundation, retaining walls, bridge slab etc.
Executions of structures as per Consultant Drawings & Specifications.
Earth works and pavement works.
Quality assurance of civil construction.
Layout of water supply and sewage system, and culverts at Askari Housing Complex, Lahore.
Site Supervision of 3 story housing units having frame structure with concrete block masonry at Pakistan Housing Project, Main GT Road Lahore.
