Contract Management
 Initiating contracts for all type of activities of E&M department
 Preparing the contract request form & getting that approved from all internal stakeholders i.e, legal, finance and technical team
 Negotiating, vetting, and finalizing the agreements with vendors and lessors such as Airbus, AerCap, Safran, CFM, Honeywell, LHT etc.
 Performing cost/benefit analysis for lease and maintenance contracts
 Implementing the contracts and monitor contract requirements to track critical events i.e., expiry, guarantees, remedies, payments for contract performance
 Managing supplier contracts in TRAX and contract management system
 Performing supplier evaluation periodically

Lease & Maintenance Reserve management
 Managing data base for lease, maintenance reserve payment and performing maintenance reserve reconciliation
 Assist in preparing life cycle cost of leased assets
 Claiming MR for qualified events and liaising with lessors and MROs to fulfil the requirements of MR claim reimbursement
 Analyzing and negotiating buyout options for redelivery Aircraft

Procurement management
 Prepare & issue RFP and RFQ for technical services and technical purchases
 Evaluating proposals and quotations, preparing comparisons of cost and quality for decision making
 Liaison with Quality department for listing vendors in quality systems and with finance for listing vendors in financial system
 Point of contact for suppliers and finance for invoices and contractual payment

Warranty & Insurance management
 Initiating warranty claims in accordance with purchase agreement of Airbus for new aircraft and specific agreement clauses for components of used Aircraft
 Keep track of all warranty claims, maintaining warranty register, challenging denied claims
 Assist insurance department in finalizing insurance claims by providing them the technical data

Financial Analyses & Cost Control
 Review, analyze and evaluate major payments and cost drivers
 Monitoring KPIs such as maintenance cost/hr, overhaul cost/event
 Review and analyze invoices for major maintenance expenditures and highlight disputed amount to vendor
Coordination and communication
 Focal for finance functions in engineering department
 Assisting VP Maintenance & engineering in preparation of ad hoc reports
 Representative of engineering department in committee for delivery and redelivery of leased aircraft
Budgeting & Variance Analysis
 Part of team to prepare budget of Maintenance & Engineering department
 Monitoring and controlling the budget
 Preparing budget/actual Reports and performing variance analysis

 Successful MR claims ~ US$ 50 Million
 Credit ~ US$ 3 Million on account of warranty claims, invoice challenge
 Saving of ~US$ 1.5 Million per annum on revision of Tyres & Wheels and brakes contracts
 Successfully implemented & managing more than 60 contracts, including contracts of technical handling, contracts with MROs for heavy maintenance & purchase contracts

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
 Managing a team of 16 officers and staff working in all areas of finance
 Review and approve payable invoices amounting to US$ 500 million per annum
 Implementation of process to streamline AP processes
 Re-designing process of accounts payable and accounts receivable for efficiency improvements
 Ensuring compliance of payment terms of agreements, procurement rules and payment policies of PIA and tax authorities
 Reconciliation of vendor and customer’s accounts
Monitoring & Controlling
 Formulate strategy for preventing duplicate payment and fraud
 Monitoring Payable KPIs, such as payable days, payable to cost of sales ratio etc.
 Keep in touch with vendors for resolution of dispute in invoices and payment
Financial & Management Reporting
 Team leader for preparation of AP and AR reports in ERP
 Assist in preparation of financial statement
 Developing regular and ad hoc reports as required by senior management
Audit Compliance
 Regular review and audit of financial processes in compliance of SOP and suggesting, improvements
 Coordination with internal, external and government auditors for timely completion of audit process and recommending possible solutions for control deficiencies identified during audit process
 Arranging response to all internal and external audit queries
