Working on 4 Star Hotel (MOVENPICK) for Karama Development with a Built-up Area of 2500 sqm over 9 levels, having 200 standard Guest Rooms, 50 Hotel apartments, the project value is 44 M USD. In that, I am looking to all ID and civil activities to match with the agreed specification within budget, time by keeping care of QAQC and HSE standards.
• My Role as a Project Engineer is to execute the work ensuring complete quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Coordinate between Design & Engineering Department (Shop drawing, Material submittal -all...)
• Estimate the quantity of items as per given drawings and put order for the require items and cross checking with BOQ quantities and there specification.
• Coordinate between MEP and Finishing work.
• Delegate responsibilities to site engineer and Gernal Forman.
• Monitor productivity levels & Work progress.
• Making sure that site activities follow the project time frame.
• The responsibilities included Cost/ Man-hour estimation of equipment discipline for various projects.
• To Provide HSE & Technical assistance to Foreman / charge hands and ensure that rules and regulations laid down in HSE policies and procedures are fully understood and passed on to the operatives performing the work.
• Issuing work orders to selected subcontractors for extra work are not included at contractor.
• Ensuring that all quality control, environmental and health and safety requirements are met.
• Material approval and reconciliation reports, Quality Checklists, Conducting inspections with Clients.
• Maintain Quality Documents Control such as RFI, MAS, MS, QCP, H4, J15, BOQ, LPO, NCR, BBS, Material Procurement & Delivery Schedule, Verbal Instruction (VB), Technical Query (TQ), Minutes of Meetings, Snag List, Hand Over Record, Drawing Registers, Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report, Cube Register, Test Certificates.
• Working on LGS (which is new technology to learn) & getting an opportunity to work on precast building structure from which I had well trained that how to complete a Project in short Period with control in Project cost.
• Reporting to the project manager
• Attain a several meetings to maintain project time and cost with in the given limits.
Preparation of Project Execution plan like Engineering and Construction for the ongoing projects.
• Consultant approval for layout, design and project variation cost.
• Liaison with external agencies, clients, Sub-contractors, Piece workers & consultants for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances.
• Continuously monitor the project progress to meet delivery schedule.
• Manage suppliers, internal and external in order to secure the delivery targets.
• Preparation of in/out cash flow.
• Preparation of Detailed Weekly and Monthly project Progress Report of ongoing projects
• Develop and Maintain Project Progress Report, Cost analysis Report etc.
• Conducting weekly meetings with engineering disciplines
• Coordination and supervision vendor and subcontractors in their engineering work.
• Ensure Bill of Material accuracy as per the scope of supply.
• I had personally gain an experience to handle multiple activities with the time management and reach up to their Level.
• Keeping co-ordination between Project Manager, Civil Contractor, Architect, RCC Consultant, for work Activities, Drawings, planning, Scheduling, etc.
• Estimation of site materials such as RCC as well as Finishing items.
• Take care of quality and cost of materials.
• Getting opportunities to learn about time management by doing simultaneously a number of activities.
• Checking of Construction Activities such as RCC, Concreting, brickwork, plaster, etc. at Site as per IS Code specifications.
• Ensuring the project activities are being done as per the drawings and specifications of the contract.
Checking of finishing Activities such
as POP, false ceiling work, plumbing, tiling, flooring, white washing, door frame, sliding Aluminum window framing, etc.
Keeping co-ordination between Owner, Civil Contractor, Architect, RCC Consultant, Miscellaneous sub-contractors for work Activities, Drawings, planning, Scheduling, etc.
Reporting to Owner by Monthly, Daily Progress Report DPR, etc.
Contractor Bill checking.
Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule.
• Material Indentation, Procurement & Testing before unloading.
• Daily management of project staff and multiple sub-contractors.
• Arranging the machinery and materials for the site Supervisor and foreman in order to complete the daily activities.
