➢ Worked for Deloitte as "Tax Analyst" for "Business Advisory Services" from May 23 2005 and got promoted to "Senior Tax Analyst" in the year 2006, USI Assistant Manager in the year 2008 and currently in a position of a USI Manager from the year 2010.
Involved in: ➢ Review of monthly and quarterly reporting for Financial services Industry.
➢ Review of Partner allocation s and calculations dealing with the foreign partnerships and concepts like PFIC analysis, Wash Sales and Sec. 704 Gain/Loss.
➢ Review of Work papers relating to Taxable Income, other adjustments to Book Income and Taxable Income.
➢ Review of Form 1065, 1042, 1042S, 1042T, 1099 Misc. along with the review of Form 8865, 8621 and Investment partnership state returns etc.
Responsibilities: ➢ Motivating the team to meet deadlines which is very important in the field of Tax.
➢ Reviewing the work done by the team to ensure high standards of quality.
➢ Reporting to the US counter-parts for the work done on a daily basis.
➢ Overseeing and ensuring the work to be completed within allotted daily budgets.
➢ Acting as a bridge between US Counterparts and India Offices.
➢ Training new staff and seniors on Technical concepts and help them on their engagements.
➢ Directly contacting the client and the custodians to get the required information.
