IT Engagement Manager
• Apply professional principle, practices and technique to lead projects teams and control the resources, timelines, quality and operational risks to meet business needs.
• Oversee and organize the projects planning, proposals, work activities, meetings, reviews, presentations, memos, administrative and technical agreements.
• Take the responsibilities of in-house developing and supporting of Malath Core systems applications which is developed using Oracle Forms.
• Lead Malath Oracle Database Administrators team.
• Manage and assign the team members; ensure that the teams are practicing in the core agile of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, visibility and optimum level of productivity.
• Identify IT applications needed to support and implement Malath operations and determine the technical specifications of software and databases to be developed and the estimated cost and timeline.
• Identify the appropriate awareness, training and development needs of teams’ members, ensure ongoing capability development, coach and motivate staff to perform effectively.
• Evaluate staff performance, benchmark unit’s performance against service excellence plans.
• Involved in the functional designing and execution of quality management system.
• Prioritize the service delivery integration as per standard, and assure that commitments are being upheld with respect of policies, procedures and methodologies.
• Prepare plans and controls for system security measures, business continuity and anti-fraud.
• Manging teams of integrations with third parties like CCHI, NAJM, Nphies, Waseel, Simah and Others.
• Maintain information security standards, drive continuous process improvement in the system applications and set efficient corrective action plans (i.e. Life cycle management).
• Conduct and facilitate UAT sessions of various development and system enhancement.
• Compliance Officer: awareness and adherence of SAMA regulatory and governance rules.
• Consistently create enthusiasm, effective communication, enhance relationships, develop support and cooperation within the organization and throughout the business partners.
• Achieve quality goals, ensure the achievement quality objectives, and implement corrective actions if needed, to adjust the level and to improve quality.
• Manage day-to-day quality operations and deliverables, produce and update quality reports, accompanied by detailed analysis, participate to strategic planning, related to the quality aspect.
• Actively manage the staff, support, motivate and retain an outstanding team, develop and supervise the quality analysts among others, by calibration sessions, observations and internal audits.
• Manage the communications; implement and maintain a continuous feedback process with the team and the different stakeholders.
• Escalate system level issues to the appropriate team, carry out regular audits to verify the quality of execution of processes in place, and make reports to the concerned department.
• Ensure compliance with the company policies, processes, tools and system changes.
• Provide input, guidance and coaching to site leadership team to ensure continuous improvement.
• Be able to perform and coach others in data analysis and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage implementation and compliance of Quality Management program, including record keeping and training of department-level Quality representatives.
• Assist in the day-to-day coordination of the departmental functions; work-flow management, process efficiency, and assignments for the development team.
• Assist and participate actively in ongoing process improvement and efficiency initiatives within the team and with multiple internal partners.
• Responsible for managing the department’s service and support functions; compiles, reviews, and distributes monthly reporting on support volumes and trends. Works closely with business and servicing partners.
• Responsible for direct priority escalations and second-level management and handling of inquiries and issues escalated to the department to support the company applications.
• Work closely with all partners on system and service changes; driving constant efforts to leverage best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
• Role of Subject Matter Expert for some of the department’s many products/systems, acting as point-person for all matters and projects and leading team sub-meetings.
• Participation in project meetings and tasks, process and procedure development/maintenance.
• Leadership and task, time, and project management ability.
• Implementing healthcare and motor insurance core systems with all related integration to third parties like CCHI and Najm and other parties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally, concisely, and diplomatically with many different levels (peers, business partners, management).
• Design, implement and maintain applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Identify production and non-production application issues.
• Lead, manage, and/or assist in all aspects of the software development cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, implementation, installation, maintenance, and documentation.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Identify areas and make recommendations for improving the system.
• Collaborate and assist with developing test procedures for software components as well as software and system documentation.
• Comprehend high level business requirements, translate those requirements into technical requirements and specifications, and then assign and facilitate the delivery and development of those components in a development build cycle.
• Having talent in problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Participate in unit, integration, and system test procedures.
• Provide ongoing system support by maintaining and enhancing existing software applications.
• Handle multiple tasks and work on multiple projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Database, PL SQL, SQL, and Administration.
• Good understanding of Web Services, XML and Jason.
• Good understanding of Source control toolsets.
• Provide Support for Higher Education customers’ applications - SunGard Banner SIS.
• Receive customers Incidents, Investigations and providing solutions.
• Oracle Database Administrator, Oracle Application Server Administrator, and Oracle Forms and Reports Developer.
• Follow up opened tickets with L3 (development team) and L0 (implementation team).
