Key Responsibilities:
BI Implementation & Adoption (Scope: 16 Manufacturing units, 4 S&D units, 8 Corporate Functions)
• Senior Business Analyst
- Ensure measurable KPIs are defined by each corporate function and the same is delivered across the group with accuracy
- Design & structure the UAT approach, finalize user nominations by function from each business unit, plan the sessions and manage the functional sign-off of all the KPIs & Dashboards tested
- Design and standardized the P&L allocation logic (Customer & SKU level) for all BUs, streamline the process gaps by defining the Do’s & Dont’s and ensure adoption by Finance community
- Active participation in designing the Universe, Cubes and Report portal
- Gather complex analytical reporting requirements for functions & business heads across the group
- Design & develop insightful operational and managerial dashboards - Desktop and Mobile versions
- Prepare user guides & training decks for BI front end tools & dashboards
- Plan, structure & deliver the training program to business users & ensure adoption
• Project Lead
- Structure & Plan the project deliveries & timelines
- Organize iteration planning, regular scrum standups, conduct backlog grooming, list out the completed activities, provide product demos, remove impairments, communicate progress to the team & function leads on regular basis
- Coach business owners & team members on BI, conduct periodic cross functional trainings ensuring smooth transition (Manual to Automated), address anxiety or any questions/issues while adopting BI
- Structure the approval hierarchy for data access grants to users & design the approval process
Change Management & Digital Transformation (Scope: Business Units operating in U.A.E)
Manage the end-to end implementation of the business critical projects like:
- Automation of B2B business model & trader (Oil) profitability for Oil manufacturing unit
- CODB (Cost of Doing Business) & Margin Tracker reporting from the system for S&D
- As a change agent, managed most of the enhancement projects initiated by the company
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Accounting & BI Implementation
- Manage the end to end implementation of Mercator’s key products at client site as a functional expert
- Provide recommendations to the customer community on Revenue Accounting functions to
improve efficiency and controls
- Evaluate business processes, provide recommendations, drive process improvements initiatives & transform them into well designed system functionality
- Review business requirements, define most optimal solutions/designs and ensure that solutions proposed, designed and implemented meet the business strategies and requirements of the customer
- Assist the sales team by providing pre-sales demos to captivate new customers in International market and by preparing RFPs & RFIs
- Assist the project manager and ensure that all project activities are completed within time and budget as per the project plan (whether Waterfall or Agile approaches)
- Effectively manage, coach, utilize and motivate assigned project resources to deliver to the best of their ability on time, within budget and scope
- Manage & guide the support team on customer queries and product fault fixes
- Contribute to the improvement of delivery practices, procedures & methodologies by participating in advancement initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Accounting & BI Implementation
- Implementation of RAPID (Passenger Revenue Accounting System) at customer site covering the following activities: conducting process study workshops, GAP analysis, core team members training, user acceptance testing, pilot run, data migration, mapping of business process, recommendation and implementation of best practices, review and support post project go-live period
- Implementation of RAPID Analytics at customer site covering the following activities: KPI definition, designing the universe & report portal, cube structuring, designing the management & operational dashboards, UAT, end-user training and support post project go-live period
- Documentation of detail business requirements and high level solution design for product customizations, industry enhancements and functional process improvements projects
- Supporting sales and market development team initiatives by providing pre-sales demos to potential customers, preparing responses for RFPs and RFIs
- Analyzing business needs of customers and play the role of SPOC between end customer and IT team for communicating and transforming the business requirements to system specifications
- Documentation of new functionalities in user guides and standard operating procedures
- Conduct system testing of new functionalities and enhancements
- Conduct business process review workshops for existing customers to identify areas of
improvement and implementation of best practices
- Design and deliver training and refreshers for external customers and internal teams
- Ensuring timely recognition of revenue from varied small and large size projects

Financial Management & Control
• Transaction Level
- Handle the day to day operations of Manipal Universal Limited International
- Ensure the transactional details keyed into SAP ERP by the team is up to date
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation and Inter-Company Reconciliation statements
- Support auditors, bankers, consultants and other key members located globally
• Managerial level
- Ensure timely and accurate closure of books every month. Provide MIS and Monthly reporting of the accounts as per the set guidelines to the management
- Prepare financial statements and notes to accounts in the local GAAP (IFRS) as well as in IGAAP as per the group policy
- Prepare the audit related schedules
- Actively involve & support Group Consolidation & Audit
- Ensure relevant and accurate data is provided by the subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies on a monthly basis for accounting & reporting purposes
- Review the revenue flow of all the individual entities falling under MULI, ensure data accuracy is maintained and MIS is reported within the timelines agreed
- Prepare ratio analysis of the consolidated accounts and provide insights to the top management
- Understand the processes of each subsidiary and provide them recommendations for improvement, which would result in effective and efficient financial data management

Customer Account Management - BT (British Telecom)
- Manage the customer escalations on services
- Segregate the customer issues on the basis of severity & report it to management on MTD basis
- Ensure issues are resolved within the TAT specified in the system
- Analysis on the revenue generation and costs incurred
