JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance: Implement Equipment Preventive Maintenance Schedules and Manage (Nil) equipment Breakdowns. Minimize Down Time. Planning Spares for effective Maintenance. Undertake Maintenance audits. Stores management. Strict adherence of all SOPs for above. Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations. Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
Plant Production and Maintenance - Safety in Production and Maintenance in Filling Plant Safety Training to Cylinder and Bulk Transporters, security, contractor, and plant staff, Optimize production& maintenance cost, bench marking parameters, cylinder health improvement, at Filling Plant Statutory Compliance related to Production and Maintenance. Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process. Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services. Ensure that equipment is in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities. Provide 24 hours a day maintenance services or assign technical staff to do so.
Filling Plant: Production Planning and Implementing production activities, Procedures and schedules with efficiency. Increase Productivity. Ensure Production related quality aspects. Team building, Manpower motivation. Support in overseeing Contract Filling Plants such as Safety Audits, Statutory Audits etc. Back up to Plant In-Charge and Commercial officer for Leave. Supervise electrical and mechanical works when new projects are undertaken.
Cost Management: Analysis of Costs with Suitable Recommendations for Production and Maintenance activities. Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the maintenance department. Installation of fresh components and fittings. Ensure that all electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily.
Safety: Co-ordinate Support on Safety to Technical Team on need basis related to markets around Filling Plant.
Statutory Issues: Directly Responsible for all statutory Compliance of Procedures, (Related to Production and Maintenance) of Filling Plant. Interactions with Statutory authorities related to Production and Maintenance activities. Statutory compliance of related to contractors.
Training: Training needs of Bulk / Cylinder Crew and Operators. Security, vendor/contractor & contract workman, apprentices. Provide safe working environment for members of staff, ensure accidents and mishaps are prevented.
Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.
Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Ensure that equipment are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities.
Installation of fresh components and fittings.
Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the service department.
Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s equipment.
Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.
Ensure that all electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily.
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry.
Provide safe working environment for members of staff, ensure accidents and mishaps are prevented.
Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management.
Purchase electrical and mechanical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.
Provide 24 hours a day maintenance services or assign technical staff to do so.
Supervise electrical and mechanical works when new projects are undertaken.
Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
Testing, Installation and Commissioning of machines at customer’s site in India and Abroad.
Plant maintenance including Preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC/VMC machines.
Panel wiring, VFD programming and maintenance.
Maintenance of all types of motors, compressors, fans and all electrical appliances.
Developing the logic of all machines in PLC and RLC also PLC Programming as and when required
Assembly of machines and electrical control panel.
Responsible for monitoring regular production for the accomplishment of production target
within a specified time & quality parameters.
Planning with reference of work order for individual projects.
Material planning on weekly and monthly basis.
Maintain stock of material and generate indent for requirement.
Fault troubleshooting and repairing of machine & control panel.
