From June 2010 to till date working in Detecon Al-Saudia. An international German contractor of STC (Saudi Telecommunication Company) as an IP-MPLS Engineer assigned in STC DNOC (Data NOC). STC running MPLS in its core network with the support of transmission equipment. Working in O&M and surveillance project for monitoring network elements running all over the kingdom. Main duties includes

- Startup and commissioning of newly installed Sites (PAT Preliminary acceptance test). It also includes new cards installation in existing devices/racks.
- Implementing, configure, monitor, troubleshoot router/switches and services
- Providing support to field technicians by helpline calls from all over Kingdom, by remote login to system for diagnosing/troubleshooting TT (trouble tickets).
- Provide support for MDT (maintenance down time) as for schedule activity for upgrading/replacing, rebooting/resetting, link diagnostic/error handling at interfaces connected with transmission or peer devices.
- Currently providing support to routers running MPLS like Cisco CRS-1(Line & fiber chassis, STC main core router), Core router GSR (12000), Edge 7613 & PE 7609 and UPE’s 7606 and mostly used Cisco ME3400 (metro switch)
- Generate statistical reports and conduct analysis for Core Network KPIs (e.g. Handovers(link failover preempt), Packet Drops, congestion analysis and alarm logs) and follow-up with peer teams for network optimization
- Follow-up with TAC & other NOC’s (DNOC (Juniper), TNOC, MNOC & ANOC etc.) for support TT Management and providing necessary support to resolve issue’s.
- Process identification and documentation for smooth work operations

From July 2009 to May 2010 worked in Kabot International Pvt Ltd (US outsourced Software House) as Software Deployment & Network Engineer. Main responsibilities includes

- As Software deployment Engineer for creating, debugging scripts on staging database servers
- Develop and provide feasibility for IT Security assessments and new projects deployment and maintenance.
- Complete configuration of database (MS SQL server, Cache server), staging server maintenance on regular basis, backups, troubleshooting and resolving the issues including software and hardware, upgrading if needed.
- Perform regular maintenance for Intel based HP, IBM and DELL blades server, making replicas of staging servers in case of migration and/or disaster recovery
- Administrator and managing Microsoft and Linux based servers.
- Installing biometric devices, active Directory, utilization of bandwidth, monitoring of traffic (MRTG, Spice works, whatsupGold etc.)
- Taking backups (full, incremental), Preparation of virtual machines (servers 2003 and workstations) HPC Computing using VMware Workstation and Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2, making full system image/backups and restoration.
- Configuring and monitoring IIS for dynamics web pages specially ASP.net.
- Load balancing between WAN redundant links from different service providers
- Filtering/blocking unknown traffic, securing /encryption using Firewall over the public networks
- Supporting internal users within the business specifically on terminals MS windows XP, Vista & win 7, expert in Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 and network related issues.

Officer Grade II in Prime Commercial Bank now RBS (Head Office System department sub NMS department) since November 2005 to December 2008. Responsible for

 Monitoring head office computer network. Managing AD, DNS, user’s rights and permissions
 Also managing and creating feasibility for network convergence within branch and new inter branch through wired and wireless link (Microwave Point 2 Point). WAN Links monitoring/status protocols and troubleshooting. Point to Point connectivity to ISP and use DSL as backbone to connect to internet responsibility for NMS a sub-department of IT HQ.
 Configuring DXX leased line from PTCL as backbone for intercity branch connectivity.
 Security implementation/firewalls, VPNs, traffic filtering through Cisco 1700 and 2800 series router etc.
 Creations of vlans within the branch for applying permission to users for specific access and to monitoring traffic. Configure ether channels.
