Extensive experience and still supporting for major Mechanical, Piping & Process Packages, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control and Telecom Packages Static equipment, Firefighting & Safety equipment, for EPC, FEED Services. PROCUREMENT / SOURCING STRATEGIES, COST CONTROL & Negotiation, Timely Delivery monitoring, Client Relation Management, Team Management, Vendor Management, Project Management, Risk Analysis, Expediting & Logistics assistance, Decision influencer. Lead-Bidding for ADNOC EPC, FEED Projects. Review of Tender/RFQ/RFI and Purchase Orders for Supply and Service job as per project requirement.

Managed floating RFQ/RFI/RFX/Tender and finalizing the procurement of goods and services to end-users consistent with existing procedures and policy in a cost effective and professional manner to protect Company interests. Participating in supplier certification / pre-qualification. • Experience of Contract Development in the field of Shipping/Marine as well as Electrical & Mechanical Equipment for Oil & Gas & EPC project as per ASME, ANSI, API, BS etc.
• Development of Vendors for Electrical (Cables, Flame Proof motors, Compressor, Variable Frequency Drives, Pumps, Fuse and all Electrical Items), Mechanical (Pipe, Pipe Fittings, Plates, flanges, Valves, Filters, various Spares, Tank Gauging System, SIMOPS, Helideck, GMDSS, Navigation System) and IT equipment and various types of contracts for Project. Sound knowledge of technical terminology, particularly that use in a marine environment.
• Experience in Preparing of RFQ, Supplier Selection, Final and Initial Price comparison Preparation, Estimation, Negotiation and Finalizing Import and Indigenous Purchase Orders, Contracts.
• The Purchasing section looks after the procurement of all material and service needs of the yard including ship repair and new building business.
• Procurement and Contract finalization for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) instead of Trading.
• Preparing ARC (Annual Rate Contract) for various Supply Items and Service Job for Shipping/Marine & EPC projects.
• Ability to define problems, collecting data, establishes facts, draw valid conclusions and recognize the price of non-conformance and trying to draw attention of the management and rectify or solve those issues by forming team.
• Sourcing Sip Repair, Sip conversion, New Ship Building Projects and On-Shore Drilling Rig and Yard’s requirement of materials by obtaining quotes from suitable suppliers, negotiating with them and creating purchase order following technical evaluation. To highlight the material control section regarding the repetitive items being purchased to enable creation of these items into stock. Monitoring outstanding Pos against estimated delivery date and following up on the deliveries to ensure on time delivery. Preparing insurance claims for materials damaged or lost in transit. Liaison with Account Department in order to settled disputed invoices. Liaison with user departments & Material Control section to ensure correct specifications are quoted on orders.

• Development of Vendors for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Drilling, Cementing and G&G Equipments and various types of contracts.

• Experience of Vendor Development in the field of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Drilling, Cementing and G&G Equipments

• Experience in Preparing of Tender and RFQ, Supplier Selection, Final and Initial Price comparison Preparation, Negotiation and Finalizing Domestic and Import Purchase Orders, Contracts.

• Preparing ARC/AMC for various Supply Items and Service Job for CBM (Coal Bed Methane) project.

• Ability to define problems, collecting data, establishes facts, draw valid conclusions and recognize the price of non-conformance and trying to draw attention of the management and rectify or solve those issues by forming team.

• Creation of MIS (Management Information System) Report for whole CBM project monthly basis.

• Experience of Vendor Development in the field of Electrical system as well as Mechanical Equipments.

• Experience in Preparing of Tender and RFQ, Sale order, Supplier Selection, Final and Initial CBA (Comparative Bid Analysis) Preparation, Negotiation and Finalizing Purchase Orders, Contracts.

• Functional working experience of SAP System for procurement module.

• Vendor Development, Procurement from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) instead of Trading, Implementation of drawing according to the assembly and vendor feedback, Local invoicing to get VAT instead of CST. Preparing ARC for various Supply Items and Service Job for Plant.

• To prepare Sale Order for selling dismantled equipments for Projects and preparing CBA floating RFQ for open tendering and monitoring auction.

• Negotiating price and other terms with vendors, selection of vendors as per Delivery, Quality and Price, placing Purchase Orders on vendors, opening of Letter of Credit or arrangement of payment according to the payment terms, getting shipment of material as per plant requirement on time.
• Control of Inventory at our Kamarhatty plant.
• Updating our marketing department with the current prices of different items with projected increase.
• Functional working experience of Oracle 11i (ERP) System for procurement module.
• The maintenance of the quality standards according to our customer and design requirement.
• To return rejected material to our vendors and getting replacement.
• Converting non-moving items to live items. ( Rs.75, 000 is already converted)
