• Monitors and analyzes the competition daily through shop calls, Market Vision
Reports and Internet searches to identify selling strategies and market trends
• Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgment through
Effective analysis and reporting
• Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and
Standard operating procedures
• Daily reviews and implements room accommodation and rate inventory controls in ONQ R&I
using IDeaS (7.1.1601)
• Maintains rate parity with third party sites through extranet sites
• Monitor the call center standards and operating parameters.
• Work with external 3rd party reservation and other distribution systems
• Ensure the best possible call response time and conversion ratios
• Ensure stable connectivity and Data Storage is maintained through proper setup.
• Manage the “front end” of the return guest program
• Work with and maintain a relationship with key group, wholesale and tour operators
• Supervise, train, schedule, mentor and evaluate Team Members.
• Maintain close liaison with all the departments to have a good understanding of other department’s operational flows.
• Conduct Accommodations Meeting every day.
