The AMAALA renewable energy system comprises:
• 248 MWp Solar PV (165 MWac)
• 777 MWh / 121 MW Battery Energy Storage System
• 132 kV GIS Substation for power evacuation
• 132 kV Transmission line
• 36 MLD Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant
• 6 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QMS aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
• Prepare and review ITPs, Method Statements, ATPs, FAT & SAT procedures.
• Manage MAR, MIR, WIR, EDL/MDL logs and coordinate inspections with client, consultant, and TPI.
• Initiate, monitor, and close NCRs with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain traceability of all quality records for audit and final handover.
• Conduct internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Review IFC drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance.
• Verify material compliance with SEC, IEC, IEEE, NEC, TMSS, and SBC standards before installation.
• Monitor calibration status and traceability of testing instruments and measuring devices.
• Ensure implementation of approved Method Statements and ITPs at the site.
• Prepare and monitor Quality KPIs to track performance and compliance.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in pre-commissioning inspections and final walk-downs.
• Manage punch list/snag list tracking and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare turnover documentation (TOP, ECC, MCC, and CCC) for final client approval.
• Support third-party inspections and regulatory authority audits.
• Ensure proper material storage, preservation, and handling as per manufacturer recommendations.
• Conduct toolbox quality awareness sessions for site engineers and supervisors.

• Supervise installation, inspection, and testing of MV switchgear, distribution transformers, and MV cable networks, including laying, termination, phasing, IR, and VLF testing.
• Inspect and verify LV power distribution systems, including Main LV panels, SMDBs, DBs, MCC panels, generators, ATS, UPS systems, and battery banks.
• Supervise installation and testing of large motors, pump control panels, and VFD systems for water park attractions, filtration systems, and hotel utilities.
• Ensure proper installation of cable trays, ladders, conduits, structured cabling, and termination works in compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, functional, and load verification tests prior to energization.
• Inspect and verify earthing, bonding, and lightning protection systems for buildings, outdoor facilities, and wet environments.
• Supervise installation, integration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including Fire Alarm & Detection, BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, ICT, and Fiber Optic networks.
• Coordinate interface works between electrical, mechanical, and architectural disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, SEC, IEC, NEC, IEEE, and SBC standards.
• Support pre-commissioning, system energization, testing, and final handover documentation.

• Inspect all contract material and ensure its conformity with the plan and Specification.
• Performing pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are approved and within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings & specs.
• To ensure that all the construction activities are systematically controlled and executed so that only conforming materials, equipment, approved methods, and procedures are used for construction purposes.
• Checking the IEC, NEC, and SAES standards and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly at the site.
• To inform the Site Manager of any deviation regarding the contract.
• To raise proactive measures during construction works to avoid any non-conformance.
• Material inspection on arrival, weight verification, and sampling for lab testing.
• Preparing weekly quality reports of inspection activities.
• Making plans for daily work.
• Inspect all materials at the site.
• Closely monitoring project schedule and progress, alerting project management for potential delays and quality issues to avoid rework and the cost of poor quality.
• Review sub-contractor documents and inspect sub-contractor installation and testing activities.
• Conduct material receiving inspection, cabinet installation inspection, cable laying inspection, and fiber optic Cable installation inspection as per ITP.
• Attending internal meeting with owners.
• Carry out inspections related to electrical & Instrumentation.
• Coordinating work with mechanical and civil engineers.
• Review and submission of shop drawings and materials submittal.
• Ensure that the necessary arrangements are made to hand over the project to the client upon completion.

• Develop electrical plans and layouts for low-voltage systems such as lighting, communication networks, security systems, and automation.
• Supervise & install systems for hotels, street lighting, and apartments, energy efficiency, and smart controls.
• Calculate load requirements to ensure systems operate efficiently without overloading circuits.
• Specify LV, MV equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and cables, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source suitable materials and verify their compliance with design specifications.
• Oversee the installation of low-voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and placement of equipment.
• Ensure installation practices follow safety standards and reduce risks of electrical hazards.
• Work closely with civil and mechanical teams to align electrical installations with structural and architectural requirements.
• Perform testing procedures such as continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and system performance evaluations.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in the systems during and after installation.
• Design maintenance plans for low-voltage systems to prevent failures and prolong equipment life.
• Offer technical support to address issues or upgrade systems as needed.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to align designs with project goals.
• Ensure systems are designed and installed with a focus on occupant safety and environmental protection.
