Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable department
Performing the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers.
Maintain excellent working relationship with external supplier.
Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently.
Provide day to day management of the Purchase Ledger team - motivating and leading the team in developing processes and efficiencies.
Performance management of staff and monthly appraisals.
Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business.
Ad-hoc duties to support the business .
Developments and implementation and maintenance systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
Management of monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
In charge of $1m worth of monthly account payments and responsible for paying all suppliers on-time and to a strict schedule as well as reconciliation of the accounts.
Responsible of all operating expenses for the company which involved constant review and recording of contracts, invoices & bills. This task included going out to suppliers and negotiate better prices, showcasing strong work ethic s as well as initiative to follow through with actions.
Responsible for the collection of debt in a timely manner including debt from supplier rebates, customer sales, finance sales & trade debtors.
Monthly bank reconciliations
Assist finance manager with Month End tasks
Perform store audits of finance operations
Assisting with special projects and implementation of systems and process initiatives within the company.
Assist store team leaders with general finance operations
Key Contributions & Achievements:
Serve as design lead on assigned projects.
Lead the development process from design through to completion
Work with Technical Team to facilitate and implement creative designs
Provide technical guidance during product planning and development
Work with Core Team to identify strategic intent of specific projects
Conceptualize and develop innovative and strategically sound visual concepts and architecture.
Conceptualize, create, design implement and maintain templates, style guides, branding elements, graphical icons, illustrations, animations, icons and multimedia for clients.
Identify source, commission and process appropriate images for clients.
Contribute to the development of initiatives, activities and strategies undertaken by the Application Development Team.
Interpret and analyse analytics reports, especially Google Analytics for client reporting.
Ensuring the highest standards of customer service and liaison are delivered and maintained when consulting with internal and external clients, including presentation of design concepts and negotiation of scope and outputs.
