1. . Electrical Designing

Designing of following electrical works by marking on architectural plans given by architect.
a. Lighting Fixture Layout
b. Power Socket Layout
c. Air Conditioner wiring
d. Telecommunication Layout
e. Networking Layout
f. Fire Alarm Layout
g. Public Address Layout
h. Security System Layout
i. UPS System Layout
j. Earthing and Lightening protection system Layout
k. Power Distribution system Layout
l. LT-Switch Board, Power Distribution Board, Sub Main switch board, Motor control panel, Main panel board, Distribution boards, sub main boards, metering panel.
m. Preparation of Load statements of whole building/project keeping in view the individual load of electrical items installed in it. This practice is used to calculate the required size of Transformers, Generator and UPS.
2. Preparation of Bill of Quantities(BOQ) & Consultant Estimates

It’s the second step in the designing phase that I carried out there. Bill of Quantities includes the description of items marked in the drawings and prepared keeping in view the designed project.
After preparation of BOQ, Consultant/Engineering estimate is made based on market prices and rate analysis of BOQ items according to the requirements of client.

3. Supervision/Consultancy of Designed Projects

After the allotment of Tender to the contractor, I checked/supervised the whole process of electrification works on regular basis according to the designed criteria (Drawings & BOQ/Specs).

4. Verification of Bills

I used to verify Contractor’s submitted bill in light of designed requirements after carrying out thorough site survey. The verified bill is used for release of payment to the contractor by the client.
