Inspection and testing activities as per the ITP & QAP.
Material inspection and test certificate verification.
Planning and monitoring of welding consumables, welding and weld visual inspection, as per WPS and ITP.
Co- ordinates the different type of welding works & visual inspection of joints.
To study the isometric drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipe lines and structural carry out the inspection work.
To check the fit up stage prior and confirm that root gap, off set, bevel angle are within acceptable limit
Conduct WQT, preparation of WPS.
Preparation of weld map and maintaining the weld record
Preparation of RT selection list for the Daily Radiography works
Review and interpretation of RT films as per standards
Witness in PT, HARDNESS TEST, MT, RT, UT, PMI, UT Thickness Gauging.
To witness preheating process, PWHT and verify the chart.
Preparation of test pack and submit to the higher authorities
To Carry out Line punching during the Test pack internal review and assistance for the reports preparation.
As built drawing preparation for modification works.
Testing of structures & pipeline like that of Vacuum Test, Pressure Test, Hydro Test & Pneumatic Test initially by QC and followed by class & client depending upon the ITP.
To check and prepare orifice flange inspection and pipe flange alignment report.
Co-ordination with painting department for performing wrapping/ coating, holiday test, DFT and maintaining QC reports.
Monitoring the calibration of test instruments and equipment.
To carry out reinstatement of piping and report preparation.
Assistance for the document control.
Maintaining of all inspection report and related documents in QA/ QC department
Preparations of DPR and maintain quality records.
Coordinating with main contractor, third party and client.
Control calibrated measuring and test equipment used on the project.
Conduct all worker activities in the safe and environmental policies and procedure.
Attending tool box meeting and weekly meeting with clients, coordination with client for technical discrepancies.
