ACTED - Supervision of the rehabilitation of damaged houses from Beirut explosion - Shelter/Wash Engineer
- Performing Technical Assessments for damaged houses for rehabilitation/repair
- Dealing with affected people and local communities to make sure to address all their needs and be up to their expectations in the upcoming construction activities
-Making sure all security and safety rules and regulations are respected and followed by contractor staff, Acted team and beneficiaries
- Preparing detailed BOQ for the rehabilitation works
- Discussing with contractor and optimizing the execution methods
- Quality control and daily monitoring, supervision of contractor and on site works in order to meet the tight schedules
-Preparation of work progress reports
- Issuance of handing over letters and work completion certificates in order for finance department to pay the contractor
- Coordinating with the other team members and the project managers to optimize the team work efficiency and maximize the benefits on field
- Hosting field visits of UNHCR representatives to check the work progress
- Documentation of all project activity documents on server (electronic database)
ACTED - Rainwater Harvesting Project WASH Engineer
- Cooperating with Project Manager, Technical Coordinator, associate engineer and agriculture engineering team on the implementation of the project strategy
- Conducting market studies to estimate the price of a rainwater harvesting system
- Researching the most cost efficient RWHs to maximize the number of systems installed
- Designing BOQ for RWHs on institutions and greenhouses
- Launching the tenders for bidders and selection of bidder based on price/quality, with the team of logistics
- Developing beneficiary selection criteria based on vulnerability, in cooperation with AMEU department
- Meeting regularly with the governor Mr.Imad Labaki, local authorities, and
farmers to introduce ACTED’s project in order to get their insight and involve them in the process
- Preparing detailed training curriculum for beneficiaries targeting all the relevant topics
- Presenting detailed technical lectures for the selected beneficiaries
-Capacity building session: communication-soft skills
- Preparing a pre and post-test to assess the initial knowledge of the beneficiary, the lessons learnt and the training outcome
- Conducting Technical Assessments for the farms and institutions and prepare a BoQ for the designed system to be installed
- Working closely with the teams of beneficiaries distributed on farms. Assessing their acquired skills and preparing skills building up activities when deemed necessary
- Preparing weekly progress reports to be presented to the project manager and technical coordinator: discussion of challenges, continuous optimization of the design and installation method, lessons learnt from interaction with beneficiaries having different technical and cultural backgrounds
- Holding weekly meetings with PM, technical team and social team to share the lessons learnt, solutions to the unforeseen obstacles and the acquired skills
- Developing operation and maintenance strategy for the RWH system and presenting it in training sessions to the farmers/beneficiaries
- Hosting regular office and filed visits from UNDP engineers, KFW and OCHA representatives with presentations of the work follow up, upcoming strategies and work schedule updates

Project Manager - Digitalization Project funded by EU (2023-ongoing)

-Dealing with clients and preparing designs/proposals for their residential buildings/villas that meet their requirement
-Preparation of the construction permits and follow up for their issuance from public authorities
-Preparation of execution plans (civil: design of structural reinforcement and architecture: facades, plans etc)
-Execution (turnkey projects)

KREDO sal - Consultancy Services for CDR project: Rehabilitation of Tannourine El Tahta Tannourine El Fawqa Road - Consultant Representative/Site Engineer
- Supervision of all construction activities: Excavation, construction of Retaining Walls, Piles, Bridge, MSE Walls, execution and relocation of water network, relocation of electrical and phone poles
- Quality control through material testing (Concrete compressive strength test, field density tests, pile integrity test…)
- Preparation of weekly work progress reports with photos of related activities
- BOQ, variation orders and work schedule follow up with contractor
- Dealing with local authorities, administrations and residents of Tannourine, Beit Chlela and Douma villages
- Ensuring safety precautions for site workers and traffic
- Hosting CDR and ministry of public works representatives on site
- Preparation of monthly narrative reports to be presented to CDR with difficulties and challenges faced, incidents that took place, lessons learnt and steps to be taken in future activities
KREDO sal - Consultancy Services for ACTED project: Akkar Water Network - Consultant Representative/Site Engineer
- Supporting in the design of the water network and manholes
- Preparing the detailed construction drawings to be executed by the contractor
- Supervising construction activities on a daily basis: Excavation, Pipe works, Manholes construction and Reservoir Connections in accordance with the set details
- Following up on contractor submittals: requests for inspections, document transmittals for materials, site clarifications, shop drawings and payments
- Following up closely on the BOQ and schedule throughout the construction phase
- Proposing of technical solutions in cooperation with KWE for unexpected obstacles/problems
- Preparing weekly work progress reports, and hosting ACTED, EU and Kobayat Water Establishment representatives on site
- Preparing operation and maintenance guide presented to KWE
- Dealing with local municipalities and residents (trying to meet the requirements and managing conflicts if they arise)
