HR Executive at Monexo Fintech
  • India - Chennai
  • September 2017 to October 2017

I have joined Monexo as an HR Executive Intern wherein am responsible for the overall recruitment process.

My task here entails developing trackers for the HRs of the verticals with regard to the candidates who are sourced, scheduled and short listed. The core internal activities include Job Posting - Resume Screening, Resume Searching and Candidate Qualifying.
• Job Posting is a difficult task but to attract the right candidates, most of them here follow their instincts.
• Resume Screening was based on:
 Years of experience
 Actual job responsibilities
 Duration of stay at jobs
 Track record of upward mobility
• Resume Searching: - Searching for the right resumes on the internet takes skill and time but luckily, I was taught how to hunt for the candidates.
• Candidate Qualifying: I was asked to attend and make calls to the candidates by filling the details in the check-list which they maintain for different processes.
• Source reports: Whenever the candidates come for walk-ins I was trained to interview candidates for the details required and to make them fill in the BG sheet (background verification) and then sort them by Portals/ Employee referrals which will then be checked by the HRs during the HR interview.

Mens sana in corpore sana
• Having our own Office Olympics where everyone can get involved and have fun while promoting wellbeing and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle in a fun and competitive way.
• Getting to know each other in a different environment and connecting people with the same interests.
Create excitement about upcoming opportunities

Encourage and provide learning opportunities
• Creating our own academy, where employees can access the knowledge and development opportunities that they need.
• Assessing their needs and their preferences by creating a curriculum and setting-up 1-2 classes per week. This involves getting them involved in deciding how one should schedule these learning initiatives (during or after working hours).
• Making it engaging and rewarding with a ceremony, caps and flowers and even a fun night out.
Give Back
• Getting involved in social (Hunger Free India Foundation) and charity initiatives.
• Getting the team together, having everyone pitch a cause and pick the one we want to support.
