PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
Investment management
Analyses financial markets, by collecting, monitoring and studying data, recommending appropriate actions to decision makers in order to facilitate optimal financial investment decisions.
Financial Investments
Analyses financial markets and reports on prospective investment avenues and carries out sound portfolio-management strategy by providing the necessary data in order to inform decision making.
On-lending
Examines and assesses financial statements of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs), in order to determine suitable terms for government on-lending to SOEs.
Contingent Liabilities
Examines and assesses financial statements of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs), in order to prevent SOEs from borrowing unsustainably.
Research
Undertakes research on economic and financial market trends, earnings prospects, and financial statements, performance of stocks, bonds and various other indicators and factors in order to determine suitable financial investment strategies.
Reports
Compiles advisory reports and makes informed recommendations on new financial investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios in order to maximize returns on investments.
