Aircraft Structural Analysis:
• Mechanical Engineer with practical and theoretical background in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Analysis of aircraft structures.
• Stress analysis using FEM and hand calculations in metallic and composite structures
• Static analysis and DTA
• Excellent analytical skills and R&D abilities
• Structural analysis of metallic and composite aircrafts, using both FEM and hand calculation
• FEM analysis and creation of models for A320 family and A350
• Test to FEM results comparison for refurbishement of A350
• Stress calculation for skin, stringers and frames for A320 Family
• Crack propagation analysis
• Analysis of different items: skin, lap joints, butt joints, cross joints, frames, stringers, floor structure (floor beams, floor panels, etc...), attachments (lugs and lock fittings, piano hinge of cargo door; etc...)
• Creation of technical stress analysis reports for certification
• Concessions for A319 and A321
• Knowledge of Strength of Materials, analysis and calculations of structures
• Knowledge of Data Processing (initial computing using WORD and EXCEL)
• Knowledge in the field of composites
• Being able to interpret results from Finite Elements analysis
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing methods in composite (especially prepreg processes)
• Good knowledge of the composite materials structure and behaviour (especially prepreg)
• Capability to discuss with the industrialisation and production department of our major suppliers
• Having a good sense of physics, being « mechanics-minded »
• Having a team-spirit and an easy contact with the shop floor
• Sense for organisation and a personal investment into the work
• Spirit of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Computational software included CATIA V5; NASTRAN for finite element analysis; PATRAN for pre- and post-processing, Airbus in-house softwares (ISSY, SAFE) .
• Planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes
• Ensuring that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality
• Being responsible for both human and material resources
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective
• Defining tasks for each post
