Roles and Responsibilities: • Overall responsible for all Inbound / Outbound Logistics activities for all the Ware houses including raw materials spare parts and general items using SAP ERP.
ERP SAP IMPLEMENTATION
• Participated in implementing ERP system SAP with consultants from Wipro India. Implementation started in the middle of 2009 and completed in July 2010.
• Worked as super user.
• Prepared business blue print of stores and inventory management for Al Yamamah group of industries under MM module (Purchase and stores)
• Processing of transfer postings and special stocks in Inventory Management
• Extensively worked on Stock transfer postings using different movement types.
• Configured Invoice verifications, GR material blocks for raw materials, inventory valuations and price control.
• Customized Physical inventory documents and posting of the difference quantity for carrying out physical inventory using cycle counting.
• Maintained plant parameters for Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
• Involved in data analysis including getting data from various sources, primarily SAP, doing data analysis in MS Excel and Access.
• Creating, fixing, and maintaining master data: Material Master, Vendor Master, Batch Master, Purchasing Info Records, and Customer Master.
• Setting up reorder point planning along with automatic PR creation and ABC Analysis system to focus attention on few high value items.
• Converting traditional purchase requisition process into SAP standard purchase requisition process and implementing release procedure for the same.
• Taking care of Management of Stocks and Goods movement for implementing Goods receipts, Goods issue and Transfer posting.
• Well familiar with Goods Issues, Goods Receipt, Movement types and other relevant objects in Inventory Management as required by business logistics.
• Maintaining Goods Receipt for a number of Purchase Orders and Goods Issue for various production orders and plant maintenance.
• Processing Stock Transfers between Storage Locations and Plants using suitable procedure and movement type.
• Created and developed systems at warehouses for receiving materials from suppliers, enter receipt information in SAP and transfer the receipt data to QC through SAP for inspection.
• Communication with purchase department for the shortages, damages and rejections from vendor's end.
• Release of the accepted materials by QC to unrestricted stock from quality stock.
• Labeling all stores shelves and bins with location codes to identify the stored material locations or addresses and updating the same in SAP.
• Similarly marking all ground area of the stored material with location codes and updating the same in SAP for locating the required material quickly.
• Issuing materials to maintenance and production under an authentic request and maintaining records of all transactions in SAP.
• Fixing reorder levels for the procurement of regular moving items in the warehouse for on time replenishment in order to eliminate stock out situation.
• Excellent knowledge for creation of Material Master Data with different conversion factors in SAP MM.
• Each transaction in SAP has a movement type, have excellent knowledge of all important movement types in SAP.
• Innovated reports as per business requirements in SAP.
• Overall excellent knowledge of SAP MM integrated with FI CO PP SD and PM modules.

• The plant has ten different warehouses accommodating around 125, 000 line items fully computerized under LAKE Inventory System and Coded under Shell international coding system.
• The main items contained Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, civil, and chemicals.
• Participated from stores side while implementing the Lake inventory package.

• Six engineers specially assigned for coding purpose only using shell coding system.
