Conduct inspections to protect employees’ health & safety by making sure that risks in the workplace are properly controlled and ensure that employees follow all aspects of health and safety rules and regulations to meet the target of ZERO HARM.
Shut down activities on various oil, gas & petrochemical site’s in SAUDI ARAMCO & SABIC Affiliates (Plant Turnaround, Catalyst Handling, Chemical Cleaning, Vacuum Cleaning, Hydro blasting, Flare & Chimney Servicing, Leak Sealing, Thrust boring, Hydro testing, In-Situ Machining, Bolt Tensioning)
•Develop, effectively implement & monitor compliance with the Project site Health & Safety management System and Project site HSE plan.
•Conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures
•Conduct job site safety inspections.
• Ensure that all necessary safety equipment are on site.
• Coordinate the issuance of the necessary work permits with the supervisor and subcontractor representatives.
•Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
•Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
•Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training
•Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
•Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
•Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our client
•Follow Fall Protection program, inspect all fall protection equipment and maintain inspection records.

•Saudi Arabian fertilizer company (SAFCO), Saudi Aramco shell refinery (SASREF)
• Advisor role in the daily Vessel Safety Coordination Committee meetings, intervening any incompatible hazardous works onboard and ensuring they are not carried out simultaneously.
• Act as liaison between Onshore QHS&E department and rig management and supervision.
• Conduct regular inspections, either formal or informal, with section managers, trade supervisors, contractors and Union members to identify potential hazards whilst advising on solutions to eliminate or minimizing it.
• Emphasizing on PTW, JSA, tool box talks, PPE wearing, order and housekeeping, waste management (in coordination with the Company man and the Rig Contractor HSE Supervisor).
• Ensure the rig contractor supply adequate HSE training to personnel at operating on site.
• Interact and transfer knowledge to local manpower (Rig and contractors staff).
• Communicate safety alerts and advise personnel on industry best practices.
• Participate on the preparation and perform the HSE meetings and proceed as instructed (daily, weekly and monthly frequency), attend all site planning, progress and other appropriate site meetings, particularly those where subcontractors are involved.
• Witness critical operations, such as heavy lifts, casing running operations, rig down, rig up and rig movement operations etc. Participate to and audit PTW's (Permit to Work).
• Carry out safety inspections and control on safety equipment functionality.
• Propose and supervise on site HSE compliance campaigns, HSE training (Handling and Lifting, pinch points, chemical handling, confined space entry, DROPS, working at height, H2S awareness and drills.
• Implementation of the company’s Health, Safety & Environment Manual (HSEM).
• Documentation & Record Responsibilities.
• Hazard identification, Enforce compliance of all HSE related MOM legislation, Singapore code of practices.
• Assessing work locations prior to certification of work permits under the Permit-To-Work System.
• Investigate accidents and near misses thus implementing measures to prevent similar occurrence.
• Periodic checking of all firefighting equipment’s, imparting first aid firefighting training for all employees, conducting mock firefighting drill.
• To conduct safety induction for employees, owners, contract workers and vendors.
• Provide assistance and advice on various work procedures, risk assessment and proper use of PPE.
• Implementing risk assessment, hot work in the ship and fabrication area/workshop, finding unsafe act and unsafe work practices.
• Conducting various drills, engage with rescue team, first aid, maintenance of the store tools, brief worker about job details with hazards and risk.
• Performs all other related and similar duties as and when assigned by Superiors.
