Responsible for planning, coordination and control of manufacturing process to the required joinery Items for the company’s various projects.

Quantity take-off for the complete project materials requirements. (Raw materials, ironmongeries, paint items, Upholstery items, metal & marble works etc.)

Overseeing the cut list preparation by the cut listers and issue to the various production sections by coordinating with the design & site teams for site measurements, various technical aspects.

Monitoring the production process / activities as per the product standards and production schedule / timescale from the Planner and updating and adjusting the schedule as needed.

Raising Purchase requisitions to the procurement by getting quotations with comparison statements for all types of raw materials + metal items and coordinating / follow-up with them for the critical / long lead / non-critical items for the projects and Tools/equipment for the machineries.

Supervising 150+ workers in the factory, ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed & reviewing the performance of subordinates.

Reporting to FM / GM through MIS Reports (Prodn & Delivery Schedule / Status, project wise material requirements list, PR Log, etc., )

Researching, Evaluating and Liaising with vendors as per the IPR requests from the civil team, Preparing the CS (Comparison Sheet by using min. 3 quotations) by compare & evaluate offers from the suppliers.

Negotiating contract / payment terms of agreement & pricing, Preparing and issuing the Purchase Orders (Local / Foreign) within the purchase authority, Tracking the orders and ensure timely delivery.

Coordinating with suppliers / subcontractors to get PO Delivery dates in order to be in line with the client’s / main contractor’s program.

Maintaining the Procurement Log with complete details of LPO Issue, Materials delivery etc.,

Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices, preparing reports on purchases, including cost analysis, coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

Monitoring the long lead items required for the projects, ensure that the materials are available within the required time frame and attending the coordination meetings for the material issues.

Preparing and submitting the material submittal schedule with procurement log as per project requirements to the main contractor.

Raising the Purchase Requisitions for the raw materials, metal items, paint, + fit out items (gypsum, marble/tile, wall/ceiling paints, carpets) by attaching quotations and comparison statements to the procurement department.

Coordinating with the suppliers / subcontractors to get PO delivery dates in order to in line with the client’s / main contractor’s program,

Updating the material submittal schedule with procurement log as per the approval status and submitting to the main contractor weekly.

Monitoring the long lead items required for the projects, ensure that the materials are available within the required time frame and
attending the coordination meetings for the material issues.

Responsible for preparing the baseline program based on the main contractor’s clause 14 program, BOQ, tender drawings, etc., in which providing the details for material submittals / approvals, shop drawing submissions /approvals, materials delivery on site and site installation details as per the client requirements.

Submitting the updated program weekly to the main contractor, line of balance reports for the progress status at site, preparing KPI’s (Key performance indicator) for weekly shop drawing submittals / approvals, material submittals / approvals and E1 Logs for shop drawings and materials, cash flow (S-Curve).

Preparing the look ahead program for the site installation works and submitting to the main contractor from the updated program.

Monitoring / updating the progress status periodically at factory / site levels by coordinating with project / site / production team and also involved in projects weekly progress assessment meeting.

Verifying the critical path and interfaces between design / engineering / procurement / execution.

Preparing and submitting the monthly progress reports, monthly labor histograms, accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning.

Preparing various cost estimates at the various stages of the project.

Preparation of cost and budget summary for the joinery items of entire project including labor, materials, equipment, transportation, subcontracts, overhead, insurance, mark up and any other cost that may affect the project.

According to tender drawings and specifications, compile the data to finalize all the estimates of production cost.

Preparing the CMS (Comprehensive material sheet), SOP (Schedule of Prices) and offer letter.

Monitoring the cost from the feasibility stage of a project through to the completion of working and operation period.

Itemizing the quantities of materials and labor in a project, measured from Design drawings to be used for progress payments, variations and changes.

Coordinating with various departmental activities & participate in the meetings related to functions & responsibilities of each department and project issues.

Machine Dispatch Scheduling,

Release of internal work orders based on order, ROL, WIP, Stock etc., Releasing of machine assembly draw list & machine specifications.

Releasing of material shortage list based on Order Trend, WIP, Stock, Production Scheduling based on machine hours available, order etc.

Economical raw material planning and have good experience in Fixing equivalent materials to suit stipulated material specs in the drawing.

Preparing schedule charts for critical units production / procurement.

Attending the production meetings & coordinating regarding the production flow.

Process time estimation, material evaluation and product pricing.

Well versed with the concepts of storage and inventory control.
