Responsibilities :
Plan and co-ordinate the progress as per construction programme, taking any necessary corrective action in consultation with Project manager,
Ensuring compliance with the contract drawings and specifications.
Managing the material submittals and method statements prior to start execution of each activity as per program.
To finalize the quantity of Material at every stage and to place order accordingly to the supplier.
Responsible for all Machinery and Manpower to be prearranged for the particular activities
Conduct progress meetings with individual and, where necessary, multiple trades, ensure that all sub-contractors have all the necessary resources and information to deliver the programme of work
Supervises the activities and controls a team consisting of to meet deadlines and quality standards taking account of impact outside area of responsibility
Liaise with consultant for inspection/ approval of each activity every day.
Liaison with both Carillion & client nominated subcontractors.
To update the Project Manager & Management the status of the project in comparison with the planned look ahead program.
To maintain all systems, policies and processes around Health & Safety and Welfare, Quality and Sustainability issues to ensure compliance with agreed standards.
Preparation of weekly progress report to submit higher management.
Preparation of Variation claims, negotiation and finalization of sub contracts as well design subcontract.
Permit to work holder + coordinator for the project.

To check the drawings, approve and place order for the production and supply of steel to the steel supplier.
To check the correctness of shuttering before the consultant’s inspection and concreting
Raise the RFI (Request for Inspection) to the consultant and see to that it gets cleared at every stage of work.
To finalize the quantity of concrete to be poured at every stage and to place order accordingly to the concrete supplier
To update the Project Manager the status of the project in comparison with the planned look ahead program.
