Instrument Installation: Oversee and support the installation of instruments, control systems, and related components according to engineering drawings and standards. Pre-Commissioning Activities: Review engineering documents, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and instrument datasheets to understand the design and specifications. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) for instrumentation equipment. Commissioning Planning: Develop commissioning plans and schedules, outlining the sequence of activities and coordination with other engineering disciplines. Identify required resources, tools, and equipment for successful commissioning. Loop Testing: Perform loop checks to ensure proper communication and functionality between instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control systems. Calibration and Configuration: Calibrate instruments and configure control loops to ensure accurate measurements and proper process control. Functional Testing: Conduct functional tests on instruments and control systems to verify their proper operation in different scenarios. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation and control systems, working closely with the engineering team to find solutions. Integration Testing: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, process) to ensure seamless integration of all systems and components.
