Attending request from Sub-Contractors for inspection for all survey and setting out based work on a daily basis, ensuring that all works are validated on site.
Checking the Sub-contractors drawings and site operations in relation to required survey checks and reviews.
Preparing daily project reports (written and photographic) on progress of the works for survey related matters.
Reviewing and comment on shop drawings for setting out accuracy and identify any existing areas which may be affected by the proposed Site construction works.
Assisisting the Sub-contractors Land Surveyor to address key stakeholder queries in relation to the orientation of the proposed works as required.
Continually monitor the works to ensure the sub-contractor complies with his agreed site safety policies and proposed methods of working and where necessary prohibit continuation of unsafe execution of works by the Contractor.
Ensure that any safety concerns are reported to the site management team and relevant safety officers.
Attend periodical technical, safety, quality and progress meetings as and when required.
Constantly review the sub-contractors ongoing and scheduled work to ensure that potential issues are identified and raised prior to causing an impact on the progress of the works on site.
Head of Survey Department And Responsible for All Surveying Works At Civil Projects like :-
1.Export and Import Surveying Data From Shop Drawings .
2. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
3. Responsible for the Quality Control and Quality Assurance of Survey Data, Field Checks, Calibrations and Survey Results
4. Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
5. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other Characteristics of Terrain.
6. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
7. Perform other tasks as assigned by the project management .
8. Support, advise and facilitate the Site Project Team in survey and operational matters .
9. Reports all survey activities via the Weekly Survey Report to the Project Manager (Personnel, Equipment, Activities, Planning).
10.Responsible for the Installation and troubleshooting of survey equipment, hardware and software
