Having been inspired & successful with my previous business plan, I was encouraged to venture into a consecutive industry. What initiated as a freelance arrangement, excelled into a small mobile design trade. Working alongside a small team I am meeting & expanding clientèle. Proposing internal floor plans, orientation & design plans. Advising & selecting design schemes, interior product & material choices. Presenting design boards, budget plans and working to specific design briefs.
Since the start of the year I have worked as a henna designer. A freelance position that I ventured into a business plan & becoming self-employed & independent. I have had opportunity to travel & work within the Midlands region, as well as having had the opportunity to liaise with clients. Present designs, work to specific design choices, work within budget, to deadlines and client preference.
Acting upon instruction, reaching specified destination. Interoperating for various individuals at various locations/places; this included medical translation/interpreting as well.
Assembling cables; control and panel wiring, wiring harnesses, electromechanical assembly, systems integration and modular outsourcing. Turnkey design and manufacturing projects. Working on own initiative.
Work Experience: I worked alongside CAD freelancer, assisting in the drawing of plans and carried out AutoCAD drawings regarding home extensions and pub floor plans, layouts. Further liaising with clients.
Calling from database of pre-registered customers. Converting enquiries into appointments. Increasing sales. Requirement of people skills & confident telephone manner.
Answering Telephone, greet customers/clients, book appointments. Sell products & maintain stock. Carry out henna designs. Provide personal designs or carry out in accordance to client preference.
Providing support to Administrator. Greeting visitors, answering queries & directing to appropriate departments. Typing, answering phone calls, photocopying, checking & ordering food & stationary stock. Maintaining stock levels.
Packing food items. Working under pressure to ensure deadlines are met. Required good communication skills & ability to follow instructions accurately.
Operating the Over lock and Lockstitch machines. Producing garments using design samples. Packing finished products.
Work Experience: formed clay body into objects, shaped and heated them in a kiln. Worked on my own initiative and produced own projects. Involved working alongside and assisting disabled learners in producing pottery.
DISSERTATION: Independent Studies – exploring self builders constructing methods. Credit Achievement Certificate; Presentations & Demonstrations.
