Working on the FCA'S high profile Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) project where we had the mammoth task of authorizing over 1000 fund managers before the end of the transitional period of 22nd July 2014.
•Reviewing and assessing firms applications to make sure they comply with the directive
•Chasing firms missing information, making sure cases were complete and looking through the firm's business plan, capital requirements and other documents ensuring they are compliant.
•Ensuring there is a clear correspondence trail with all cases and uploading sensitive information onto FCA systems.
•Working knowledge of all FCA systems including Tardis, Livelink and others. Experience in maintaining incoming and outgoing team mailboxes.
•Liaising with other case officers, triage team and heads of department in ensuring all objectives are met and ensuring the work stream is proficient.

•Data migration - uploading 1000 firms on to Tardis
•Liaising with firms regarding AIF schedules and dealing with complex queries regarding the schedules
