Responsible to support Contracts Manager for all contract management activities for pre-award and post-award contract, the activities shall include but not limited to tender process, contract drafting for Feasibility Study, EPC contracts, small contracts, service contracts, PO & contract amendment, contract review and negotiation, Change order & claims analysis, Contract monitoring and contract closeout.

- Reviewed and improved the existing contract management strategy for a more efficient contract management implementation.
- Reviewed the existing contracts and agreements and advised risk and potential improvements by using industry standard and in compliance with applicable legal and regulation.
- Performed contract and claims management strategy worth for $9, 4 billion accumulative savings through rigorous claims review and negotiation and successfully maintained cost escalation less than 3% of project value.
- Monitored and evaluated day-to-day project execution to ensure contract compliance and advised for any potential risk and its mitigation.
- Reviewed and negotiated claims, change orders, Extension of Time (EOT) from Contractor, and contract amendment.
• Assisted client to set up PMO (Project Management Office) KAI LRT and PMO standard for effective project management;
• Monitored, controlled, evaluated LRT schedule and project performance during project execution to prevent/ minimise project delay and cost overrun;
• Identified, monitored and managed project risks and issues in terms of contract, scope, schedule, cost, and project governance, and ensured the risks are managed properly;
• Managed client’s expectations and assisted client in managing contractors and the stakeholders;
• Managed contractual and commercial issues, including contract review, contract drafting, change order & claim preparation, contract and commercial negotiation, and delay analysis;
• Assisted and advised project manager related to the contractual and commercial issues, change order, variations, and prepared claim and notifications to subcontractors and clients to prevent additional costs.
• Managed and administered contract (post-tender) and resolved budgetary issues exceeding $150 million USD;
• Executed 25 variations and contract modifications valued at $20 million USD.
• Involved in procurement process (pre-tender: prepared requisition, Purchase Order, negotiation, drafted subcontract agreement) and contract administration (post-tender: managed claims, variations and change order, issued notifications) to ensure project execution meets project objectives (Scope, Time, Costs);
• Evaluated and verified subcontractors deliverables according to the contractual requirements for subcontract value of $5 million up to $15 million USD.
• Successfully prevent commercial loss of the project for about 1.5 million USD (from Variation Order, Claims, Scope & BoQ control);
• Established and improved corporate project standard, policy, and procedures for more efficient project delivery.
