Deliver Operational Excellence for the HSSE function in Oman ensuring effectiveness of the Organization in all operational locations to meet legal, business and region requirements.
Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance. Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
Provide overall direction to the Engineering and Procurement team to meet the safe working standards.
Ensure Engineering and Procurement is in accordance with Operations and the statutory requirements.
Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture. Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment. Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Coordination with site personnel on the daily execution

Risk assessment . Identification of hazards. Provision of suitable PPEs . Work permit system. Toolbox talks. Safety drills. Inspection of fire fighting equipment, hose rails, fire extinguisher. Provision of adequate sanitary facilities , Clean and hygienic drinking water ,wash basin , separate toilet facilities for males and females. Inspection of ground for the erection of scaffolding. Weather forecasting before erection of scaffolding. Competency inspection of the scaffolders. After erection complete safety check wheater it is safe to do work on this scaffolding.(inspection of bracing, guard rail, toe boards, coupling etc.) Clear instruction of safety for visitors. Provision of Adequate lightning at workplace. Provision of first aid kit at a place where people can approach easily. Provision of restroom, recreation room, hygienic cooking facilities at work place. Provision of guard rails on stairs. Lone working Procedure. Provision of Safety guards along moving parts of Plant. Maintenance record of Plant. Safe work procedure for Work force. Inspection of cables ,electrical fuses, earthlings test , ELCB's and electrical Panels.
