Presently working as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte. UAE office. Major work experience includes clients audited from Construction, Manufacturing, Retail & Real Estate sectors. I possess practical knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and International Accounting Standards.
I perform audits of clients independently and supervise the Senior & Associate Auditors effectively. I have more than 7 year’s experience in auditing small, medium, and large clients. I have performed group audits as well. I have more than 3 years’ experience working as an Experienced Senior Auditor.
Major responsibilities as an Auditor include performing substantive analytical procedures, risk assessment, planning audit procedures, business process assessment & controls and preparation of the financial statements. I am involved in supervising and reviewing the work of Associates, Experienced Associates and Senior Auditors.
I use my time effectively to complete the audit deliverable on time and meet client and firm’s expectations in timely manner. Major duties include reporting directly to the Senior Managers, Directors and Partners of the Company.
Worked as a BPS Intern at Deloitte Sharjah office. My responsibilities included performing general accounting & payroll-related activities.
Worked as an Audit Intern at Deloitte Dubai office. Professional experience in major clients audited industries including retail, banking and financial services, construction, investment management, real estate development & manufacturing.
Completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accountancy) degree with Distinction from University of Wollongong. I obtained a 75% grade. Received 8 High Distinctions and 13 Distinctions across 34 subjects completed. Based on the credentials GPA conversion from WES USA its 3.55 / 4.00 overall. Studied Accountancy as Major. Studied Economics and Business Management as electives.
1) Completed 3 GCE Cambridge Advanced & Advance Subsidiary level exam. Studied Accounting, Economics & Business Studies subjects at GCE Advanced Level & Advance Subsidiary level exam. 2) Completed 8 GCE Cambridge Ordinary level exams. Studied Science subject at GCE Ordinary Level.
