Duties:
Review all engineering design plans, calculations, systems and raise technical queries for any design deficiency or change.
Review and assess project budget and schedule for proper compliance and adjustment where required.
Prepare/review all related material submittals and issue material purchase requests, purchase orders, and follow up until required material is delivered to site.
Liaising with client / consultant’s engineers, and representatives from vendors, sub-contractors and other stakeholders for all project-related works.
Coordination with different supporting departments within company (procurement, engineering, scheduling, logistics...).
Estimate, prepare and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for electrical and related works prior to execution.
Plans and analyzes all possible construction methodologies and recommends activities as per project priority and actual site feasibility.
Interpret construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any job.
Manage directly and provide engineering and technical support to all electrical work groups on site, ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times.
Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily and weekly basis to meet project-defined milestones, and within cost limits.
Ensure that all the works are done in accordance with the approved and latest construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications and all applicable standards.
