L&T, KUWAIT STEEL, ACICO CEMENTS, JGC, SINOPEC.

Plans, schedules, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects
of the assigned projects.
* Manages the Site Engineers to get up to date information for forecasting site
progress on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Receives all the equipment, materials and tools as requested and reconciling
them with the requested orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition
of items.
* Ensures that all the necessary materials required to start the work for the day has
been acquired and made ready at least one or two days beforehand to ensure
quick deployment in at the start of the work to maximize time on site.
* Ensures that the team on site has the required knowledge for installation,
testing and commissioning the system and providing any kind of assistance if
requested and when required.
* Knows the work to foresee any problems during the installation so that proper
corrective action can be undertaken to resolve the issue. This includes
coordinating with the required on-site people to find a solution to the problem.
* Maintains an accurate attendance of employees on site.
* Completes all the tasks required and requested and to report their status during the
weekly meeting and as per the requirement of the site.

Preparing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) with online permit for the daily work through
Q4 Engica software
* Following work orders for the new work allotted to the mechanical maintenance
division through Oracle JD Enterprise One software
* Planning a weekly Schedules for the mechanical maintenance division through
MS Project software
* Preparing service orders for the new works allotted.
* Analyzing the P & I drawings and Tank farm drawings for the new updates and
revisions made
Time to time.
* Responsible for recording and maintaining engineering records.
* Responsible for coordinating and planning daily maintenance and repair activities.
* Prepare risk schedules to identify and quantify risks and mitigation measures.
* Preparing monthly reports for senior managers.
* Responsible to scrutinize technical mechanical problems and follow corrective
procedures to fix the problem and avoid recurrence.

Major Overhauling of Valves:
* Control Valves, LP By-Pass Valves, Main Stop Valves,
Level Control Valves, Safety Valves, ECV and CRV
* Gate, Globe, Butterfly, Ball, Needle, Safety and NRV valves.
* Checking of Spindle and Sleeve clearance.
* Spindle Run-Out checking.
* Contact (Seat) checking and Lapping.
* Spindle and Valve Seat DP Testing.
* Gland packing Sleeve and Spindle clearance checking.
Knowledge in Safety Standards:
* Knows about safe limit of H2S gas.
* Knows about work at height standards.
* Holding a Qualified gas tester certificate provided by current employer.
* And knows about emergency evacuation procedures.
* Holding HSE passport of Chevron
* Holding HSE passport of TSHJV KNPC

* Preparing time-based schedules as per the client’s specification for repair.
* Providing suitable work allocation to supervisors.
* Plan, Lead and supervise Repair team to ensure on-time delivery.
* Slot meetings, perform job inspections and cost control responsibilities.
* Liaise and coordinate with internal & external parties (vendors, owners & surveyors)
* Pertaining to project requirements.
* Daily site inspection as per requirements.
* Giving suitable technical solutions related to project if any problems arise during
work period.
* Provide clear guidance to project team members on the rules & regulations to be
observed for each system & equipment.
* Arranging UT gauging as per Repair specification for hull & deck for cropping and
renewal of steel.
* Arranging blasting for entire Hull area & Tanks.
* Arranging painting for entire Hull area, Tanks, Deck, Superstructure etc...As per paint
specification provided by ship owner.
* Arranging class surveyors for the inspection of blasting & painting.
* Safety permissions will take before all hot works.
* Fit-up inspection of pipe joints and structural units during fabrications and erection
stages.
* Co-coordinating quality inspection and quality survey programs with quality
inspectors.
* Planning and scheduling of construction activities according to work front
requirement.
* Preparation and assessment of daily progress report and coordinating progress review
meeting in house
* Material, manpower and equipment planning for daily work activities.
* Execution supervision of pipe line works.
* Hydro testing and Non-destructive testing Pipelines and weld joints.
* Conducting pneumatic pressure test for air bottle and compressed air system valves.
* Coolers, valves etc. overhauling & hydrostatic pressure test will be carrying out.
* Attending sea trials of vessels and conduct the various surveys.
* Obtaining the work completion certificate after successful commissioning & testing.
