Havas PR Middle East is part of an international advertising agency, Havas’s youngest agency network, with offices in six countries. Havas provides their luxury clients with communication services which cover advertising, marketing servicing, digital and corporate communications.

As a public relations executive, I’ve served as account holder to 11 prestige brands such as Lancaster, Marc Jacobs and Chloe perfumes as well as 6 mass brands such as Rimmel, Sally Hansen, Playboy perfume and Adidas deodorants.

Job Responsibilities and Skills:

•Strong practice of professionalism and respect for colleagues, press, consumers and suppliers.

•Strong press relations and follow up.

•Composing press releases as well as compiling and dispatching press kits to press for product launches.

•Planning press trips and negotiating coverage accordingly.

•Proposing event ideas and planning consumer as well as press events.

•Pitching, negotiating and organizing coverage such as interviews, behind the scenes, make-up tips and photoshoots.

•Pitching and carrying out sponsorships and sampling activities.

•Project planning with advertising departments.

•Experience in PR planning with focus on client approach to PR objectives and strategy.

•Organizing and participating in photoshoots, TV shows and music videos.

•Negotiating and organizing online, print and radio competitions, product reviews and advertorials for consumer interaction and brand education.

•Strong organization skills with administrative reports such as weekly client status reports, minutes of meeting reports, meeting agendas, weekly to-do lists, time sheets, media lists and post event reports.

•Diplomatic approach towards crisis management.

•Successful in achieving PR targets/AVEs by measuring targets against PR resources such as budgets, PR material & opportunities, product availability and client’s approval on project pitches.
