During this period I was assigned the responsibility of supervising the health and leisure department in the absence of the General Manager, including not only Cleopatra Spa and Wellness, but also Pharaoh's Health Club and ds.
My main responsibility was to ensure the departments were successfully managed in their day to day operations. This involved leading management meetings, advising and suggesting more positive work practices and coordinating all activates with the Director.

Spa Manager
My position as Spa manager in this renowned company has involved overseeing general management and operations across the 3 Cleopatra Spas both in Dubai and Sharjah. This has involved directly managing a team of 25 employees, and overseeing general operations of a team of 50+. As manager I have implemented targets and incentives to encourage and motivate staff as well as implemented strict performance management techniques and appraisals to ensure standards are maintained. Various social media campaigns and marketing projects have helped to drive revenue and attract new clients for the spa. I have been directly involved with monitoring the yearly budgets, the P&L, and heading renovations projects to develop the facilities.
Other daily duties have included product ordering, sourcing and purchasing products and service, marketing both internally and externally, as well as yearly promotional planning.
I have continued to conduct various training across the 3 sites as well as source and implement new brands and signature treatments. I have been directly involved in recruitment drives both here in UAE as well as travelling to other countries to find the best possible candidates to ensure standards in the spa are not compromised.

Spa Trainer and Standards Supervisor
As an in house trainer it was my responsibility to provide induction and ongoing training regarding every aspect within the spa. Including product treatment training, retail skills, spa standards, and continually assessing the standard of the guest's journey. I have developed training plans, liaised with trainers and organized and implemented both in house and external training sessions.
Having worked very closely with the Elemis Trainers, I have been able to assess training needs and requirements based on performance and feedback, and implemented training as a result of this. Treatment assessments have been an essential duty to Benchmark the standards within the spa. I received a Train the Trainer course from both Elemis UK and also WAFI Head office.
Other responsibilities have included, supervision of a large team, managing general operations across Wafi and our two sister companies in Sharjah, liaising with product houses and brands, implementing new treatments and products. Duty manager shifts of the Health and Leisure department, including Pharaoh's Club, Pool, and Hair Salon, have also played a key role in my position.

As and in house trainer my duties included; supervising day to day operations within the spa. Planning, developing and delivering training sessions to a large team on various product ranges, customer service skills, retailing skills and reception responsibilities. I have developed training plans, liaised with trainers and organized and implemented both in house and external training sessions. One of my main responsibilities was to look after our guests experience within this spa, liaising with guests identifying the needs and requirements and implementing new ideas. I have achieved excellent retail sales and developed a network of regular guests.
I participated in an event in the Jewelry show 2010, whereby we promoted and marketed the spa to the attendees. I also assisted in the decision of chosen brands within the spa as well as the treatments to be taken on.

Internal training was given to student in lower years by me and I have also held the title of spa supervisor during my experience here.
