As Studios Manager, I make sure that the studios meet the needs of students by managing all of the required services. I also provide technical support to students when needed. Responsibilities also include:
- Quality assurance
- Ensuring the studios meet health and safety requirements
- Planning for future development in line with strategic university objectives
- Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
- Updating inventories and sending purchase requests to restock supplies
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
As director, I managed the studio space and its tenants. I also developed creative projects and led them to completion. That included:
- Developing and writing the project brief
- Creating the project timeline and a Gantt chart with the deliverables
- Contacting artists and mentoring them throughout the project
- Organizing an agenda of activities for the event, such as workshops and talks
- Writing curatorial statements and editing artist statements
- Writing press releases
- Briefing the design team and supervising the creation of promotional materials
- Managing social media channels
- Inviting media and influencers
My responsibilities included: community management, online customer support, monitoring & insights, engagement and content creation and design, creating and executing content strategies, and enhancing brand image through social presence.
Since Cobone was a startup when I worked with them, I wore many hats and worked with different departments when needed. During my time at Cobone, I helped increase the fans and followers on KSA pages by 200%.
I chose this program because I aim to become a pioneer in promoting well-being in organisations and small communities. More and more research is revealing the connection between productivity and well-being. This program will help me gain in-depth skills in the science of managing, leading and motivating people within organisations and businesses, across a variety of sectors and cultural contexts. It will arm me with advanced psychology-based skills that deliver real results in the workplace.
