As Studios Manager, I make sure that the studios meet the needs of students by managing all of the required services. I also provide technical support to students when needed. Responsibilities also include:
- Quality assurance
- Ensuring the studios meet health and safety requirements
- Planning for future development in line with strategic university objectives
- Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
- Updating inventories and sending purchase requests to restock supplies
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

Hobbies

  • Animal Welfare
    I was personally involved in rescuing multiple injured and weak cats and fundraising to cover their treatment. I adopted 5 cats and they are all rescues.
  • Art
    My work was exhibited in multiple group exhibitions in Jeddah and in one show in Dubai. I blogged about art in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and also had an article published on hyperallergic.com , an online magazine based in NYC. I hosted Casual Art Talk, a monthly gathering where we discussed the local art scene. I co-founded "Saudi Art Guide", an online guide to the local art and design scene.
  • Yoga
    Completed 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Arab Yoga Foundation in Jeddah. I taught beginner Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Yoga classes at Dar Al-Hekma University twice a week for 2 semesters.
