Project Management Advisor for the Project “Enhancing Institutional Capacities to reduce Disaster Risk and to integrate Climate Change Jordan”; I was in-charge for providing day-to-day technical assistance to the implementing partners (Ministry of Public Works and Housing, General Directorate of Jordan Civil Defence, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority) with high level policy/technical and managerial expertise.
Also I was responsible to ensure that IPs are effectively coordinating amongst each other and assist them in the annual, quarterly and daily planning of activities to ensure outputs are achieved within deadlines. In addition I was assisting IPs in the recruitment of appropriate technical expertise and compiling their reports on progress for the Quarterly Progress Reports, Annual Reports, and Final Reports and assist the four IPs report to the Project Board (PB), and Project Technical Committee (PTC).
In charge for locating earthquakes in Jordan and adjacent countries utilizing the seismic network consists of 26 telemetric stations, and reporting that activity daily and weekly. Also In charge for creating the seismic data for Jordan as Jordan Seismic Catalog from (1900 up to now). In addition to setting the seismic hazard maps for Jordan that is the key data for the building code in Jordan.
Participating in designing a scenario for mitigating the hazard resulting from natural disasters such as landslides, floods, earthquakes and Developing awareness programs on natural disasters, especially earthquakes.
I worked from 1993 up to 1996 as Mud-logger, during that time I was responsible for the geology description of oil wells, monitoring the gas detection system. Also I was responsible for using the seismic data of the well to predict at what depths we can hit the target or pay zone.
From 1998 - 2001, worked as data engineer where responsible for total drilling control, in terms of the parameters of the drilling process such as, well pressure, lithology, gas types and amounts.
From 2001 - 2005, worked as unit manager where I was responsible for the two data engineers and two mud loggers and two sample catchers, during that period I was responsible for checking the daily, weekly, monthly reports and the final well reports. Since I was the man in charge for my company in the site I was in charged for assisting in setting the daily and weekly as well as the activity plans for the rig, where we have 9 companies and total of 100 persons involved in these plans
