Reporting to the Program Director with 23 people in my team:
• My portfolio consists of 2 mega road projects of more than $2B each and about 32 other road projects in various stages of Pre-Contracts and Construction.
• I chair the quarterly health checks for individual projects, present cost, risk and schedule reports in monthly meetings to the Executive Director and General Manager, help and support the different functions within the Centre of Excellence to develop the Cost, Schedule and Risk procedures.
• I provide in depth analysis of any Extension of Time Claims to the project and commercial teams.
• I am responsible for all the following functions that are conducted by me and my team and provide guidance to them for any issues or when we must initiate any new process / procedures.
• Cost Control - my team of Cost Controllers support each of the projects with monthly forecasting, accounting for the actual expenses throughout the month, accruing of expenses, managing the resources charging to the projects, cash flow and budgeting for the current and future financial years and preparing various reports for different audiences. I discuss the prepared cost reports for the projects which has the contractor’s forecast, internal costs, variations and contingencies from the risk and issues.
• Planning and scheduling - my team of Planners supports each of the projects with the monthly P6 schedule updates, analysis of contractor schedules, providing what-if analysis and scenarios, analysing contractor claims and extension of time claims and preparing various reports for different audiences.
• Risk and Issues - my team of Risk specialists supports each of the projects with the monthly updates of the Risk Register in Active Risk Manager (ARM), discussing about the risks and their mitigation strategies, contingency for cost and time for the risks and preparing various reports for different audiences.
• Project Controls - my team of Controls specialists supports each of the projects with the quarterly health checks, monthly deep dives, assurance for the gates, adherence to the various management plans, scheduling of audits, supporting the project teams through the Estimating process and preparing various reports for different audiences.
• The Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from my team interacts with their respective functions within the Centre of Excellence for developing the different procedures, frameworks and interface tools for our regular working with the project teams.

Senior Consultant – Forensic Planning at Driver Trett, Australia

Reported to the Director and worked with 2 consultants under me :
• Prepared the Expert Report for a Solar Farm Project for an Adjudication. I did a detailed analysis of the baseline and monthly updated programs and did a window slice analysis to reach the Extension of Time days for the Claim.
• Detailed analysis of a Bridge Replacement Project. I did the analysis on the program for the planned vs actual manpower and reasons regarding the delays associated.
• Analysed and wrote part of the Expert Report for High Court case for an EOT/Delay Claim for 6 buildings residential complex project in Sydney using Time Impact Analysis, including updating the program using data from various sources, preparation of comparative statements for the changes in Contract requirements, preparing What-If scenarios, analysing data and documents to build up the case to demonstrate and support the explanations of the Expert Report. Prepared the Cost claims for the deduction and variation of scope of works.
• Wrote a part of the Expert Report for ICC Singapore on a Delay and Disruption claim of a Polyester Plant Project in Vietnam. Prepared the As Built program and chronology of events for the delay issues based on information from different sources to support the Global Claim.
• For the Port Pirie Nystar Smelter Plant in South Australia, prepared the Cost and Financial claims for the disruption of works and idle manpower and plant & machinery.
• Contributed to the Expert Report for a Piling Work for a Building Project in Sydney using the Measured Mile method for productivity analysis including preparation of What-If scenarios and data analysis. Also prepared the Cost claims for the out of sequence of works and variations of materials and additional manpower.

• Improved the Timelines with Recovery Plans in the Perth Airport Expansion Project for Planning, Monitoring by mitigating the delays and analysed the various Claims and EOT issues.
• Improved and Restructured the Baseline Schedule and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for Solomon Expansion Communication Project and subsequent EOT Schedule Claim.
• Audited and Analysed Claims and EOT Delay issues for the Qatar Metro Rail Project.

• Restructured and prepared the overall Master Program for British Telecom for the Fiona Stanley Hospital Project. Also improved on the Inventory & Stocking methodology for the inauguration.
• Developed the Completion Works program and bi-weekly site visits and published reports for the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Center.

The BARWA Commercial Avenue Project is the largest mixed-use development in Qatar comprising of 460 apartments, 475 showrooms, 630 offices and a shopping mall with net leasable area of 56, 600 sqm housed within 5 major buildings. I was reporting to the Planning Manager and had 1 Planner reporting to me.
• Developed and maintained the Master Program, considering the Client’s Business Plan.
• Audited, Reviewed and Approved Contractor’s programs in Primavera P6.
• Co-ordinated / followed-up with the Design & Engineering department regarding the preparation of drawings.
• Co-ordinated / followed-up with the Materials & Procurement department regarding the ordering, manufacturing & delivery of the various equipment / items.

The Pearl is a landmark project involved developing a city on a man-made island. This is one of the most iconic destinations and tourist attraction in Qatar. I was reporting to the Project Manager and had 1 Planner under me.
• Developed the overall project network in Primavera P6 by evaluating Engineering design, Procurement, Construction & Management (EPCM).
• Developed, Maintained, Monitored and Updated the WBS Based network and Analyzed the network using What-if Analysis, Impact Identification / Recovery Plan.

• Audited and Analysed the manpower and labor reports submitted by the contractors with respect to the productivity rates and check the plan v/s actual progress of work.
