- Assisting the Resident Engineer/Project Manager in the management and administration of various construction contract packages.
- Responsible for the construction supervision of all landscape elements of the project including, irrigation networks, softscape and plating, hardscape, steel structures, RCC structures, swimming pools, water features, play equipment etc.
- Monitor and provide guidance for the accurate execution of the landscaping projects, assessing the work in progress against time plan and budget, identifying and reporting any area of consideration and propose solution to meet the project needs.
- Supervise the work delivered by subcontractors and internal resources and ensures that these comply with quality standards, landscape design, irrigation systems, selection of plants and technical requirements of the project
- Ensure the Contractor’s adherence to construction documents and latest authorities’ regulations.
- Coordinating all aspects of submittals, review and approvals against contract requirements.
- Assist in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFI, etc.).
- Review and approval of contractor’s/sub-contractor’s prequalification and other technical documents etc.
- Attend factory visits, trail mix, material tests, and nursery visits for soft-scape selection
- Reviewing the contractor's progress at all times
- Coordination with all other services/disciplines & design team, meeting with Employer, Stakeholders and Authorities.
- Attending weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at the site as required.
- Directly involve in inspections as well as support the site inspection staff as required.
- Observing the safety procedures followed by the contractor.
- Testing & Commissioning of irrigation system, snagging/de-snagging, review Warranties/Guaranties and handover project satisfying all closeout documents until final issuance of TOC.
- Assisting client in all aspects of the final acceptance of the work and close-out of all applicable contracts
- Supervise all landscape/Irrigation Maintenance works in DLP and handover to Operation & Maintenance Contractors with all the documents at DLP completion
Roles and Responsibilities:
In-charge for overseeing all civil and structural, construction and handover of projects.
Review all Contractor’s submittals, including but not limited to Method Statement, Material submittals, Shop Drawings, Mock ups, etc.
Review contractor’s material approvals requests along with samples against specified technical performance requirements and advise on the appropriateness of the proposals.
Provide support to the project department and field engineering to resolve contractor technical queries and resultant field changes, where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues.
Attending Work Inspection Request (WIR) raised by contractor at site to ensure execution works is being carried out in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
Perform scheduled inspections via WIR, and provide accurate inspection comments related to the Civil, Structural, Finishes works.
Attending Material Inspection Request (MIR) raised by contractor and verifying material if is as per approved material / project specifications.
Review Contractor documents such as Project Quality Plan, HSE Plan, Monthly Safety Reports, etc.
Attend site inspection, third party testing, sampling and coordination with authority in obtaining required approvals.
Monitor Contractor's/Sub Contractor’s performance concerning the Civil and Finishes Works against approved Method Statements and ITPs.
Review of Permit To Work (PTW) documents including method of statements and Risk Assessment in co-ordination with HSE.
Report any potential problems, issues, and deficiencies related to the Civil, Structural and Architectural Finishes works to the Resident Engineer/PM in a timely manner.
Issue, when required, NCRs for non-conforming works to the Contractor, and participate in the resolution and closure.
Produce the daily record and report the daily physical progress of Civil and Architectural Finishes works made by the Contractor.
Assist the Resident Engineer/Quantity Surveyor for Contractor’s invoice assessment based on submittals status and work in-progress on site.
Assist the Resident Engineer/Project Manager in the preparation of the monthly Project Status Report as required.
Conduct snagging and de-snagging of the Civil and Architectural Finishes Works declared to be completed by the Contractor.
Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly and annually, non-conformance trend analysis, remedial actions, etc.
Liaise with the Senior Health & Safety Consultant to ensure the compliance of the Site Team with HSE Plan.
Review, approve and process all contractors' as-built drawings.
Attend Progress Meetings with the Client, Contractor & Sub-Contractors as deemed necessary by the Resident Engineer/Project Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Attend Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.

Issues correction notices to contractors/developers to correct deficiencies found during inspections.

Inform the Senior Landscape Architect / Resident Engineer of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
- Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, quality control, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
- Assists in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.
- Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
- Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Assess construction and installation methods of construction and ensure that QA/QC procedures are adequately implemented.
- Perform regular quality audits and reviews of project construction activities ensuring findings are documented, reviewed, and closed out.
